My daughter burns easily but loves the water and sun. She has a few different rashguards that are very effective in minimizing her sun exposure. Like her other rashguards, this one resisted heavy summer use, and fit great. The colors on this one, however, made my daughter keep reaching for this one. It is a fun color combination for her. Made me happy not to have to convince her to wear it. Because it is white, unlike other colors in this style, you can see through to the bathing suit underneath. That didn't matter to us, though.

We had bought this to use it on boating days, however it is too sheer, you will need a swimsuit underneath it. IF you have really small kids it might not be too much of an issue.

Fit is good and it looks good. SO hard to keep clean though- picks up stains like it was meant to do that! If she touches a life jacket, water with seaweed, edge of the boat or anything, it has a mark that is hard to wash out.

The material seems nice but I was surprised that the size 10 fits my 8 year old perfectly. She is tall for her age but I assumed this might be a multi-year shirt and there is no way it will fit past this spring/summer. I would suggest sizing up in all cases.
