Product description

Review

As brilliant, and revolting, as the human body it celebrates ― The i newspaper

Like listening to a teacher who makes pupils fall aboutThe Times

Kay's Anatomy is totally brilliant - it's ultra child-friendly and chatty, and any young reader will learn a great deal about the body as they chuckle through each chapter ― Jacqueline Wilson

It's fun and informative and just the sort of book I would've loved as a child ― Malorie Blackman

If only this funny and informative book had been around when I was too embarrassed to teach my kids about bodily functions ― David Baddiel

Hilarious and fascinating! I wish Adam had been my biology teacher ― Konnie Huq

Absolutely packed with facts... Entertaining and highly informative ― Daily Mail

Much funnier and more informative and more gross than Gray's Anatomy... I highly recommend for anyone

Dr Xand van Tulleken

Full of one-liners and packed with fascinating (and sometimes disgusting) factsBookTrust

This is brilliant. I'm not jealous that I didn't write it at all. No, not one little bit ― Dr Ranj Singh

Warning! Contains much talk of poo, farts and vomit!
I have a 7 year old, and now that I have finished reading Kay's Anatomy, I will let her have it.
I learned a lot, and I am 38.

For example I can remember without even looking that the hippocampus is the memory section of the brain. This is because of Henry Paker's brilliant illustration of a hippo going camping. I also like how the large intestine is always depicted as wearing a beret.

Mr Kay writes so well and where there are more difficult topics such as eating disorders or grief, he approaches them sensitively and encourages children to get help if are struggling.

So buy this book for your kids. Buy it for yourself. Buy it for your Granny.
