34W is a little snug, and they haven't even been washed yet. Even the belt that comes with it is barely long enough, making it more troublesome to use. Unfortunately, it's not available in 35W. Otherwise, length is fine, the fabric is fine, and I like the plastic buttons and velcro closures. For a comparison, the Levis cargos (both Ace & Squad) are a good roomy fit.

These run somewhat small and the fabric is rather thin. I've purchased far better cargo shorts at Old Navy. Overall, I would simply say "not for me". I guess I'm finding that I don't like most Lee products, so it may just be a matter of preference, but I'm not loyal to a particular brand either. Better brands off the top of my head - Claiborne, Levi, Old Navy.

Pockets on the Left to Small to Use

These shorts look great and fit great. Might not be of much concern to others, but the two small pockets on the left side really annoy me. They are to small to put anything in without them falling out with normal usage. I bought the "Levi Squadron Cargo Shorts" and found them to be much better.

I ordered my exact waist size that I fit comfortably in other name brands of shorts but this particular brand runs extremely small for what the size says on the tag. I'm not one of those who prefer the long shorts that nearly look like pants, but I expected something that comes at least 2-3 inches past the kneecap. When standing, the shorts stop just above the kneecap and while seated, the shorts are about 3 inches above the knee. Made of good quality material, but the sizing guide is waaaaay off.

The top portion that was covered by t-shirt at the waist was fine, but the legs that were exposed to the sun below the shirt were basically a different color. Will not purchase again.
