These are great jeans for everyday wear but look smart, so can be dressed up too. They are lightweight, with not too much Lycra, so they sit very nicely on my waist. I had to order long ones, as they had no medium in my size - American size 8, so UK size 12. They are a little generous but I think a 6 would have been too tight.

Pants already had been altered with seam tape - not "new"

This is not a "new" product. It has already been "hemmed" by someone! I ordered a tall size on purpose, so when I held them up to me I was frustrated to note they didn't even hit my ankle. Then I noticed there was a huge pressed "hem" and I further found that someone had used hem tape to take up the length. These pants have already been altered!

In addition, there is clearly a fuzzy rectangle on the pant leg which remains after you first remove a sticker which usually tells the size.

I am in a bit of a quandry b/c its a hassle to do returns and reorder and wait for pants when maybe I could wash away the hem tape & pants will be fine. Maybe.....

These used to be called the All Day pants. All in a size 8. However, they tend to vary in actual size from pair to pair.
The pair I received today are the Roasted Chestnut, just a medium to dark brown. They are pretty stretchy. The other pairs I own, you can wear them a couple times, by then they are stretched to a size bigger, then they have to be washed and shrunk back into shape again.
I wanted to include the actual garment measurements, because this type of information helps me when I read reviews.
