They fit well. They have a higher cotton blend than a lot of relaxed-fit jeans which is welcome. I find jeans with a high synthetic compoment have a peculiar odor - like urine when the body warms the fabric. The Jones New York jeans that I have worn for years also fit well but when I read the Amazon reviews that said they now fit smaller than previously, I thought I'd try these. Four stars, because though they sit at the waist, they still tend to slide down - a bit too relaxed! A bit more cotton in the blend would solve the problem.
AMENDED REVIEW: They just kept sliding down even with a belt. Had to wear the belt so tight, they were uncomfortable. Missed the Return window. Donated to charity.

Any pant that tells you all these things even before you put them on is worth keeping. Yes, these jeans have these messages on the inside, and they made me love them even more.

But let me be honest, at first, I was really skeptical about buying the pants without trying them on. I truly, wholeheartedly believe in putting on pants to ensure they fit before purchasing, but I took a chance because the brand is Lee. I wasn't disappointed, thank goodness. They are straight leg, as advertised. They're not tight, and they don't feel heavy like some jeans do. I wore them to work, under disguise of a Lee Indigo polo shirt, and no one said a word. Bad to wear jeans at work, but I did. They were very comfortable, and I had to make zero adjustments. I might be buying one more, but I am mostly looking for black trousers. Still these are great. Admittedly, I wasn't a fan of jeans for a very long time, but this buy has sealed my love for jeans. Very happy with my purchase, and more than likely will be a return customer.

Sizing doesn't seem relaxed in thighs

I bought a size 16 which is my usual size in Lee Jeans these days. I am 5"7" and hover between 185-190 pounds. These are light weight jean material and have just the right amount of stretch. They fit perfectly in the waist, but are a bit longer than I thought they would be for a regular length pant. They also fit in the hips, but they are close fitting in my thighs which is where I carry most of my extra weight. I am keeping them because, even at age 71, hope springs eternal that if a lose a couple of pounds it will come off where I most want it to. It's important to note that the washing instructions say to wash them in cold water and line or flat dry, which I find unusual for jeans. They did not shrink at all with the cold water wash so I will have to hem them, a consideration for those without a sewing machine.

material deteriorated with four months.

I had these for four months and they washed and held their shape appropriately for the price. However while pulling them on after only four months of not much occasional use my finger went right through the fabric. Since I am past the return date I can only inform people to expect this quality.

The pocket broke within 3 days of wearing the pants. If I put my phone or money in my front pocket, it will fall right out the pant-leg. The pants fit great otherwise, but having the pocket be made so poorly was an absolute let down.

I would get another pair if I knew the pockets would be able to at least hold my spare change.

A little snug fit

I like them but was little disappointed in the fit. I probably should have returned them, but I was in a hurry and needed black jeans fast but I think I can make do. You see, I already have a pair of Lee's Classic Fit jeans in size 16, but a different leg, maybe they are boot cut, not sure. Anyway, my old ones, size 16, fit very comfortably around my waist. So I thought these would fit the same, but they don't. They are a little snug. Maybe because they are a slimmer cut jean. But they are nice quality. Guess I'll have to lose weight!!

I bought these jeans for my sister, and they fit her great! I ordered a 16 and an 18 (she got whichever fit her better) because I knew a lot of Amazon products run small. Her measurements sit in between the listed measurements for 16 and 18, but she said the 16 fit almost perfectly! This product definitely runs a bit large, at least compared to the provided size chart.
