I was looking for jeans with a bit of extra room in the tummy to wear on a long road trip. I tried these on in a store and found that they are just what I was looking for. I usually wear the relaxed fit in 10 long and didn't want to go up a size in those because they would bag all over. These in 12 long are quite loose in the tummy area, so no slimming effect but they are still flattering and extremely comfortable. They will probably be my go to jeans until I lose a few pounds.
Edit- Okay I love the first pair so much that I purchased a second pair, this time in the pearl color because I have so many dark jeans already and they are for very casual Summer wear. The color and fit are good. They look like they could be an older pair of the Seattle color. They did arrive with a much stronger mothball smell though, which is almost gone after 3 washes and being dried in the sun for a couple of days each time. The first pair only had a very slight smell which was gone after 2 washes and a couple of days in the sun. I hope the manufacturer corrects this!
Purchased another pair in graphite. I love the soft polished twill fabric. They easily work for business casual as long as the rivets are covered by a top.

I like these so much that I ended up buying four pairs. My only complaint is that the darkest color fits baggier than the other colors. I ordered all the same exact size. I do love how the waist sits higher and no belt is needed to hold them up. I also love the fact that I could get them long enough. It always seems like store after store only sells low waisted pants that aren’t long enough for tall women(I’m 5’8). These pants suck My stomach in, unlike the store bought jeans that leave you with a horrible looking muffin top.

Great jeans--a touch of stretch and they look great and feel even better--and my ankle holster doesn't show when I cross my legs!! These are great for us long-legged gals who have a hard time finding jeans that don't look like capris!!
Update:
After a year of washing and wearing regularly, the 6 pair of these jeans I bought (6 Long) are still looking great and feeling great as well. They are long enough (I'm 5'9 and most of that is legs) which is hard for me to find, but these are perfect. The black are more snug, but the Seattle is my favorite color!

The Monroe jean I have worn for years,,, but the new fabric, Dark blue, called Horizon does not shrink up to fit like the Seattle blue did. I have washed them over and over, not wearing them at all but just to make them shrink,,, they don't... very baggy on legs and all over. Like the original heavier fabric that shrunk.. they stay tight on legs and don't ride up and show four inches of ankle.. So I will stick with the Seattle color!

I ordered these because Lee discontinued the previous type I loved (350 series). I was somewhat skeptical that these would fit as well, but they do. I am very happy to find a nice fitting jean in long. What I really like is they won't shrink because of the polyester content, so if they fit out of the package, they continue to fit.
