Jeans are odd fit

This is my second purchase- trying to find a fit so bought a size up from regular size. Waist is way too tight and the rest of the fit is unattractive. I made the mistake of cutting off the jeans and washing hoping for a better fit…didn’t work and now can’t return. Big mistake on my part. Will NoT be trying another black pair.

These pants slipped on and fit like a dream. After wearing for a couple of hours they were a nightmare! Completely bagged out around the thighs waist and knees. They went from a size 4 to a baggie size 8. What a waste of craftsmanship, time and energy. Fabric is garbage. Very disappointed

So disappointed. I love these jeans, they fit great! But after 18 months of casual wear the zipper just broke. While I’m wearing them. I have to cut the zipper out to get them off. It may be past the return window, but these are Lee brand jeans. They used to be reliable. Amazon customer service was no help. Don’t expect them to last.

Smelled bad

This product arrived in a sealed plastic bag and smelled terrible. I thought it was the packaging but upon opening, realized it was the jeans themselves. The odor was Ike a strong detergent or chemical smell and there were no original tags or the trademark plastic strip of tape that usually run down the legs of a new pair of Lee jeans. I am returning these. I circled back through past reviews of this product and noticed several 1 star reviews describing this identical issue. Wish I’d read those before purchasing, now I have to return these to an indoor space during a pandemic, exactly what I was trying to avoid by ordering on Amazon.

I have several pair of Lee jeans that I have bought in stores and these are nothing like any of those. The waist is way to small to be a 12 and they are definitely not straight leg. The legs flare out more than normal boot cut. This is the second time I've ordered jeans through Amazon that have not fit they way they should for the size and description.

The fabric has major color flaws/irregularities -faded horizontal lines around front waist/hip area - BOTH PAIRS. Didn't even try them on - doesn't matter how good they fit if the material color is flawed. I've bought Lee jeans for my husband for years - always good quality. These ladies' jeans look like seconds from a third world country. Sending them back.!

I have worn Lee pants for many years, and they always fit perfectly, but have just finished trying every single style in my usual size - and every style is very tight in the calf! Fits perfectly other than that, but I am also surprised that they have gone to "mid rise" in almost all styles, which is a shame. I like "at the waist". Sadly, good-bye Lee.

I'm looking for jeans without polyester, which has become so hard to find. So I was very happy to find the Lee Classic Fit Monroe Straight Leg Jeans. Description said 98% cotton, 2% spandex. Not so happy when they arrived. The label says: 81% cotton, 18% polyester, 1% spandex. Sigh. The search continues.
