Perfect fit but haven’t been able to wear them yet because the denim is still too stiff! I’ve washed them 3 times & worn them around the house a bit but very hard to break in! Must mean they’ll last a long time...lol
I've purchased Lee jeans on Amazon before with very good luck. I like the fit of these jeans... long enough in the leg, high enough in the waist to help conceal the lower tummy bulge, and figure flattering.
When I first received these jeans 2.5 months ago, they had a strange and very strong chemical smell. I'm not usually affected by products with a scent but the smell was bad. I washed them and the smell was still just as strong. I washed them again with detergent and borax but the smell persisted. I then left them outside for several days in the sun turning them so both sides would be aired out. Nope, still smelled. I washed them again but that didn't help.
What could have been sprayed on these jeans to make them continue to smell so bad after so much effort? I surely don't want to wear them because of the smell. I also don't want to risk having a toxic substance against my skin. I think I'm past the return window so this purchase is a big fail.
I was excited to see that I could order my favorite jeans online and at a good price. They arrived on time and were sealed in a plastic bag inside the packaging envelope. Upon opening the plastic bag I was hit with an odor so strong I thought I had opened a can of garbage. It’s a bizarre chemical stink. I assumed that this odor was due to the jeans being wrapped in the plastic. I washed these jeans twice and then dried them and they still smell horribly. I would not wear these if you paid me. I have no idea what could be on these jeans that is making them smell so bad after two washings. I hope I am allowed to go through with my return since I cannot find any of the tags. I tore them off before I washed them. I did this because I assumed the foul odor would disappear with the washings. I was wrong.
THESE ARE NOT WHAT WAS ADVERTISED! The description said 98% cotton. They are 75% cotton and a bunch of other stretchy fabrics. I wanted COTTON! **PART 2** When I opened the package they stank with mildew, musty. I immediately washed them. Didn't help. Left them out in the sun 2 days. I am now washing them in vinegar and borax. It is such a hassle to send stuff back to seller, but I really wish I had.
