Got these as a gift and loved them. Wore them about once a week since November 2020 until January 2022 when they started to fall apart. They started pilling shortly after wearing them and now have pilled so much that they came out of the wash with a big hole. I wish these were a different fabric that didn’t pill.. other pants bought at the same time worn just as frequently are still fine.

TLDR: If you don’t want pilling and having to buy a new pair every year, these aren’t for you.

Fabric is too "revealing"

The fabric these are made from is a deal breaker. Too bad, as they fit well. But the fabric is such that it discloses every bump, ridge and dimple. I'm 5'6", 140lbs, so "that's" not the issue. Though it's a fairly thick fabric, its satiny finish plus spandex makes for an unflattering appearance. Whatever happened to twill that disguised our imperfections??

Wrinkles !

1. No matter how carefully you wash and dry these pants, they wrinkle so badly that they need to be ironed.
2. The back pocket is too shallow to hold a cell phone. This is so stupid! The pockets are made of inexpensive white cotton. An extra inch deeper would cost almost nothing. Lee’s would never do such a shoddy thing to men’s pants.

These pants fit great and had the perfect length, but they wrinkle so bad. I looked messy after being at work for an hour. Oddly enough, my black pair of the same pants do not wrinkle like this.

I like these pants. I think they either run a bit large or I'm smaller than I think after recently losing 30 pounds.
Nonetheless, I ordered black, the label states black, but they aren't black. The are a kind of dark gray; but nowhere near black as stated. I can wear them though, so I kept them. But be warned, when you order these in black, they will be gray.

The pockets make the cut unflattering

First they ran a little big. My 6 short fit like a 7/8. The short length was good. Biggest issue is the cut on the pockets made them stick out the sides and made that whole front cut around the hips awkward and unflattering. It was the same with a different style I bought for my daughter so it is the brand more than this particular style.

Perpetually wrinkled

These pants are marketed as “wash and wear”, however they come out of the dryer as a wrinkled ball, regardless of load size and taking them out while still hot. No big deal. I have steamed them, ironed them, starched and ironed them. There is no way to keep these pants from creating creases in the front and back from sitting/walking. They just look sloppy and unprofessional. I tried to make these work but now I need to find a new pair of khakis as these just look wrinkled regardless of what I do to make them look nice.

Appears to be replacement for discontinued relaxed plain front straight leg trouser jean. Fit about the same. worn and washed once. So far so good. . Hope they are more colorfast than old style.

Update: Have ordered literally dozens of these exact pants over the years because I like the fit and dressiness. Was basically my work uniform most days. Even with darks detergent they faded fast. But relatively cheap and with my figure it's hard to find pants that fit well so kept buying them. No more. The last batch of three I bought on a great sale were a different cut. Not straight leg but tight around the knees and thighs and one couldn't button. Yes, a year working from home has mysteriously made my clothes shrink a bit, but can still fit into the others I had. These are completely different even though I reordered same item number. Really disappointing.

The explanation did not explain it very well. These pants are more for a slim woman. You have to be slim for the pants to make it up. I went by the size I chose not expecting many pants always dealt with thin-legged women. The pants are nice but only for certain women.
