I bought two pairs of these a size 8short and a 10short. I am 5’3” and a half and the length of the short size is perfect. I’m not telling you my weight, sorry.

I normally buy size 10 jeans at Old navy and in Levi’s. While both sizes fit me (8 and 10), the size 10 is much better for work. The waist is a bit tight on both sizes, but this loosens during the day. The pockets are functional: the two pockets in the front and the pockets in the back. This is a big deal because way too many women’s pants assume we don’t need pockets which is so annoying.

I bought the size 8 in dark gray and the 10 in tan. I’m pleased because while I can wear jeans to work, it is always safer to wear actual pants. These are not too stuffy, cheap enough to buy multiple pairs and I can just wash them with everything else.

The material isn’t too thin. These are pretty nice. I wouldn’t Hesitate to buy more when I stain these.

Practical everyday pants

Lee has usually been a good fit for my very short frame, and these khakis are no exception. The length is perfect. The fabric is comfortable and nice enough to either dress up or down. They are about as wrinkle-free as can be--not the nicely-pressed look but good enough to pass. My only quibble is that the waist gaps in the back. I wish they had some subtle elastic to make a clean, fitted look all around. Nevertheless, these will easily be a staple in my wardrobe.

Inconsistent Fit Depending on Color Ordered

I first ordered these pants in the indigo rinse and loved them. They are flattering for pear-shapes and the short was the perfect length. I immediately ordered the flax and charcoal heather in the exact same size and was disappointed. The flax material is much different and cheaper looking. The proportions are off and they fit baggier. The charcoal material looks nice but they are much smaller through the hips-more of a slim fit. I’ll keep looking for the perfect pants that are more consistent in fit.

I rate these pants 3 stars based on material quality. I found the material heavy and stiff. Washed pants thinking it had a coating often seen in cheaper fabrics but made no difference. They are not very flattering due to the way they fall since they are too stiff. I cut them down to cropped pants.
