Thought they were jeans...

Pants are nice & I am keeping...However, because I purchased them from the same site I purchased the Lee 18L relaxed fit JEANS (and loved), and had been searching for a pair of white jeans forever, I was so excited to see the picture of the "parchment" color pants (which translated to white in my brain) that I failed to see the word PANTS instead JEANS when I hit the order button. In my defense, though, the color choices were listed as the jeans color choices. I can use these & they fit well, so keeping. But I still want a pair of Lee Relaxed Fit 18L straight leg WHITE JEANS. So Lee, how about...?

The quality is nice but I'd say the color is a very light beige; parchment connotes a yellow to me & there is no yellow undertone.

Comfy but a lint magnet

The pants fit great, are soft, and can be dressed up for work with heels or dressed down with flats or sneakers without having to cuff the hem. I am a curvy 5’5” and appreciate that they fit over my hips without suffocating and sit at my waist without a huge “back gap” or needing to wear a belt. The biggest flaw is the amount of fluff they attract. I do not have any pets and yet find myself lint rolling frequently throughout the day as these pants seem to be a magnet for the slightest fuzz. Also, they come with a tag attached as well as a sticker with the size on the thigh. Despite removing and washing the pants before wearing there is still an outline of that sticker on the thigh because that area has attracted more fluff/lint than others.

Lee pants are my go to pants. I have no idea how many I have ordered over the years. These fit great. I am 5'8" so I always order tall and they are just the right length. However, this pair would not have passed inspection, had there been such a thing. One of the pockets was folded over and sewn into the waistband and also caught in the stitching at another place. Simple fix. I had to cut it out of the waistband, but then I had a large hole in my pocket all day. Didn't have time to sew it that morning before work. Clothes used to have "Inspected by Number ___" tags in them so we knew who to blame for shoddy workmanship like that.

I had expected the pants to actually come up to natural waist line not sit on the top of the hip bones. Other than I personally prefer pants that come up higher, these fit very well and are comfortable. You should wash them inside out as they tend to attract lint. The length was just right for 29" inseam they really are made for short women. If you are shorter than 62", you may have to hem the pants legs up about an inch as they came down to just below my ankle with shoes on.

I have been searching for black pants forever now since Lee changed the cut of their sinfully soft black relaxed pants a few years ago. These are a pretty good substitute and will buy a few more so I can wear them to work.

I ordered them in parchment in size 6. I weigh 120 lbs. The color is just as pictured and a great neutral. You can wear them with anything other than pastels. The fabric is quite nice. I searched long and hard for this color in a straight leg pant that was cotton. At 5' 5" the inseam is too long in regular so I will have to shorten them but I want to wash them first to see if they shrink. They go to the floor. The length is probably fine if you wear a higher heel. This is my first time trying to add a photo, so much is missing.
