To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
It is very difficult for plus sizes to find pants that are fit well and COMFORTABLE. They are not resistant pants. They are soft (almost velvet) and thin. So dirt especially in black appears very quickly, animal hair sticks easily to it and if you worked in a warehouse (because it's really comfortable) it will tear easily. But, me I don't care about that because I feel great in these pants. I'm short and very plump. So I'm 5.2 feet tall (1.58m) and my weigh is 216lbs (98kg); I have a feminine body shape balanced up and down. I chose 18 short. Perfect fit.
I was having such a hard time finding black pants for work- these pants are perfect. They're the right fabric weight and fit, and even though I've only washed my first pair once I feel pretty okay about how these pants will stand up. I like them so much I bought a second pair.
I have been a loyal Lee brand customer for over 14-years. I have purchased women's shorts, relaxed fit pants and jeans on a regular basis, however, for the past few years I have noticed the quality diminishing on Lee's products. In fact, I recently ordered five pairs of women's Relaxed Fit All day Jeans in the same size, I was shocked at the poor quality, cheap fabric and shoddy sewing, with each pair sized radically different, and one pair had a leg sewn clear through. Moreover, I highly doubt the validity of the other Amazon reviews that say these pants are great; they may be fake reviews or the reviewers are not familiar with with the prior Lee pant quality.
I am extremely disappointed that Lee has chosen to reduce the quality of their women's pants to the cheapest and poorest quality made that they are not worth purchasing anymore. If they have to charge more to make a better quality of pant, then they should do so but do not sell these horribly poor quality and uninspected quality control pants to the public, especially their loyal customers!
Lee has lost me as a valued customer and frankly, they will lose a great many more customers too. The shop where I purchased their clothing even stopped carrying Lee pants stating that the quality is so low customers stopped buying them; that is why I had to order them on Amazon. I am sending these pants back as well.
I bought one pair in my regular size. Short and Petite sizes are usually too short for me. To my surprise, the legs were way, way too long and I got overheated within an hour of putting them on. Foolishly, I ascribed the heat to the too-long legs and ordered a Short pair instead. They were the right length, but still WAY TOO HOT. I literally just had to go home on my lunch and change pants because I was so miserable. You could probably wear these in a chilly office or something, at a job where you aren't moving around a lot, but for retail or foodservice? Absolutely not. I don't know how they managed to make 100% cotton so hot. It's like a wearable oven. You could wear these things and nothing else in the Arctic and be fine.
I bought these pants to wear at work. I needed something I could pair with just about anything and I needed something that fit well with just a little stretch to make them comfortable. These pants are perfect. The size was as expected in the black version. The material is soft and easy to wash and wear. I don't believe in ironing clothes, and these don't need it. The cuff will sometimes fold up during the laundry process, but I just straighten it up before I put the pants in my drawer and they are fine when I wear them.
The pants actually fit fairly well. I’m 5ft tall, 182lbs, and these are just loose enough that they should be good for my job. I purchased the 18 short. And this is where the star comes off. If these are short then I’m a giant at five feet tall. They go at least a couple inches past my heels!
Over all I like these. The material is nice and the waistband fits pretty well. The only thing I do t love is how wide they are at the ankle. They’re supposed to be straight leg, but they seem more Iike bootcut.
While the fit in general is good and the length is appropriate, I am not happy with the leg width. I ordered these based upon the information on the tags in a pair of pants I already own. I ordered what I thought would be identical pants. However, the leg opening at the ankle is a good 2 inches wider. These are definitely a straight leg pant, not tapered as I expected. The narrower leg opening was one of the reasons I initially bought this brand and style, so I am disappointed.
