Meet my new friend ( not the ‘mini dog’ but the brush) the mini dog is off my 2 new rescues of 4 weeks and out of a rug...it has been vacced in the 4 week but it disturbs the dogs so I went for a quieter option. 20 minutes brushing in one direction pulled this out. I tried a second run but all the hair had been pulled out in the first run. No pressure needed just gentle strokes. Some reviews refer to the handle unscrewing. Yes it does but all it needs is an occasional twist. Some snap but there was a card in the box from the supplier promising a replacement if there are problems but I would buy another if it broke! EDIT 6 month later still original handle still going strong-used on same rug every 2 days

Just received this broom, on arrival the handle was minorly dinted, not enough to affect the handle from working but enough to cause a weakness that could be more of a problem after sustained use.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 November 2018
However, I have not had a chance to use it more than once as during the first use the bristle section of the head detached, as you can see in the photo. It is held onto the black section of the head with three tiny screws which instantly squeezed their way through the rubber causing the bristles to come off.
Returning this product. I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you want something similar.

The broom itself is secure and the rubber filaments appear thick and strong. With the handle attached the whole item stands at approximately 148cm. With firm tubing as handle attachments.
The pieces fit together and then it’s a turn to secure each piece in place. The more pressure I put on the broom when brushing, made parts of the handle undo. That's why I've given 4 stars. I just tightened them up as and when needed and got on with the job.
I purchased it to clean up some grit and hair from a communal hall carpeted area, it did this easily and was simple to rinse through and clean away any dirt. Drying quite quickly in the sun or warm room near the but not on a radiator.
For small storage space, it can be unlinked again when not in use.
For this price, I think it’s good and I received a well-made product.
