The Lee "All Day" pants have become my go-to work pants. The cut is both flattering and comfortable for me, and the pockets are generous for women's pants. Each of the side pockets will easily accommodate my smartphone along with other smaller items, e.g., keys, and are deep enough to get my phone down past the bend of my hip so nothing is in the way or in danger of falling out when I sit down. The back pockets are, of course, smaller than the side pockets, but quite adequate for carrying a wallet or something similar (nothing like the for-appearance-only, postage-stamp-size pockets found on a lot of women's pants!).
I've gotten these in three colors now: Black, Roasted Chestnut, and Charcoal Heather. The Black and Roasted Chestnut come in a 98% Cotton/2% Spandex that feels great. The colors are rich and look good, although my older (black) pairs (~1.5 years old?) have faded noticeably, albeit evenly. The Charcoal Heather is a nice dark gray that worked well for what I needed (pairing with a navy jacket); the 72% Cotton/26% Polyester/2% Spandex material is fine, but I don't like the feel as much as the 98% Cotton/2% Spandex.
One odd thing is that all of them seem to have an odd tendency for the hem at the ankles to flip up and out when coming out of the wash, which I assume is due to some quirk in the cut and/or sewing, and my older pairs seem to have a little preferential fading/wear associated the wrinkle pattern of being flipped like that. It's not a big deal to me to remember straighten them out, but I figured I'd put it out there in case it's a concern for anyone with a better grasp of clothing construction.
The pants are very nice looking and comfortable. They come out of the dryer with minimal wrinkles, if one gets them out immediately after the dryer goes off. The only suggestion is the waist is large for the particular size. They require a belt to hold them in place and/or need darts at the waist to tighten it as much as 1" or more.
I'm a size 10 (5ft 5" 145lbs) so I ordered a size 10...big mistake, it was a bit too big so i got the waist adjusted then I washed it and it got oversized the adjustment was not enough.. i won't reorder but if you are ordering choose two sizes smaller.. this is not the pants for me
Bought my first pairs at Kohl's due to a great sale. My gray pair looked like they were starting to wear along the seam (after 2 years), found these and decided it was a good time to replace them. May be a little darker than my original pair, but fit just as well. The navy and burgundy ones are lint magnets, but I like how these fit and look.
These are just about an inch or two too high cut. It makes for an unflattering fit when you where your shirts tucked in. Plus, the welt pockets bulge out in the back. I knew these were going to be too good to be true.
This Lee style slacks has been my go-to favorite for years! Perfect for my casual office setting and anytime I’m out and about. I always have a pair in the basic colors: black, gray, brown, navy blue & a few in the different lt beige color offerings. Super comfortable!
Perfect for job on the go. These are durable and fit like jeans but they look nicer and the material is softer. I ordered a couple sizes up from where I was pre-pregnancy. I suggest ordering true to size.
