Not the same depth as Lego. Cannot connect bricks underneath.

While attaching bricks on top of the base plates is satisfactory, the base plates are not as deep as a standard lego plate and there is no way to attach bricks underneath.

So this product is fine for building on, but horrible for attaching together (as you cannot connect them underneath) or to other base plates you may have.
