I ordered 3 lamps. Initial set-up - took a few goes to get 2 of them working, the 3rd is a birthday gift for March 2020.
After a few weeks, the power went out momentarily during a storm & the moon went back to the magnetised base. I tried to re-position but no. I turned off the power, removed the cord, sat the moon away from the base overnight - unable to re-position moon. Keeps going straight back to the magnetic base. I turned off for a week - still no. Vgazer said try would replace or refund 1. I said I wanted them all refunded & haven’t heard from them since!!! I received early January, contacted them 18/2, but apparently the cut off date with Amazon for return was 5/2. Not happy & have wasted a lot of money. Don’t buy, waste of miney

a little tricky to levitate the moon lamp for the first time , after try more times, you will get the point more easily.

Very pleased, BUT requires low voltage supply

When I bought this product I was very hesitant. I spent hours looking at this kind of levitating moon lamp from different companies and realised that a lot of them had very bad reviews, claiming that they stopped functioning after days or weeks. I decided this company seemed the best and I have not been disappointed.

It has now been on for most parts of the night for 6 months straight and it still works as well as it did then. It lights up well, it's easy to make levitate once you get the hang of it, and the switch works perfectly. I was also able to easily get in touch with the company when I had a question.

However, this device does require low voltage input (made for US and not EU). So to use this I bought a transformer and I have only used the product in connection with the transformer. I believe that that may be the main reason that it has not worked for everyone, but it works for me. So if you buy this, make sure to have a plug with low voltage output or buy a transormer.

The only downside to this product is that the 3D print or the material looks pretty cheap up close. But from afar it's barely noticeable and it's not the important thing (the levitating, lighting parts is).

So overall, I have been pleased with this product and would recommend it - only make sure the output is correct.

Also the fade between the white and orange is much more smooth than that, the shudder speed was just weird and made it look bad. Anyway this is a cool light.

Vielleicht habe ich ein Montags-Modell erwischt, aber mir sind nun gleich drei Sachen mit dem Mond widerfahren, wegen derer ich ihn leider zurückschicken muss:

* gleich bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme hat der Sockel laut vibiert - nur durch Neigen konnte ich das Gerät (zeitweise) leise machen
* Insgesamt scheint der Sockel schlecht verarbeitet zu sein: die Strombuchse ist nur mit Heisskleber festgemacht und gleich mal rausgefallen. Ausserdem stinkt er nach kurzer Zeit nach überhitzten Bauteilen.
* nach 2h Betrieb schaltet das Gerät regelmäßig ab und kann erst nach einer Weile wieder eingeschaltet werden. Sieht für mich nach einem Schutz gegen Überhitzung aus

Ansonsten ist das Ding schon cool - die LED-Farbe könnte etwas wärmer sein und der dunkle Fleck am Boden vom Mond stört etwas.

Ich hätte das Gerät gerne in "gut" :)

Vorab: Die schwebende und rotierende Mondlampe ist wirklich eine super Erfindung. Sie lässt sich je nachdem wie stark man sie anstupst unterschiedlich schnell drehen und das Licht wirkt sehr natürlich.

Kritik und dafür mindestens einen Stern Abzug, man sieht mehrere perforierte Linien, wenn man direkt davor sitzt. Ich kenne mich 3D Druck nicht aus, aber schön sind diese gestrichelten Linien definitiv nicht. Sie sind nicht überall so deutlich zu sehen. Damit man sieht, was ich meine, habe ich zwei Fotos hochgeladen.

Ansonsten positiv beim Druck hervorzuheben ist: Die Mondkugel hat auch leichte Unebenheiten, was die natürliche Beschaffenheit des Mondes simulieren soll und was widerum schön wirkt.

Nur diese Linien tun dem halt leider einen gewissen Abbruch. Von weiter weg sieht man die aber nicht direkt bzw. nur wenn man es vorher gesehen hat und halt weiß.
