What a gorgeous book, I read it with my 3 year old and he loved all the illustrations, and immediately wanted to read it again. Also loved the facts at the back of the book 🥰

What a beautiful and inspiring read. A simple story about a young Narwhal who interacts within its own magical environment and plays with their friends. The story introduces a number of delightful creatures and exposes us to this Artic wilderness. Aimed at children of course but no-one reading this simple story can be unaffected by the simple words and delightful artwork. The language clear and concise and their day reflects the activities children and adults undertake from playing to exploring; communicating and eating. It also outlines import topics and details the animals who live alongside the Narwhal. I especially liked the piece at the back of the book for further reading where websites are listed for the creatures as well as details on the subjects of the Northern Lights and Coral Reefs. There are also some fun facts about these Secret Artic Creatures like the whistles and clicks sounds the Narwhal make and their remarkable tusks. A book to thrill and expand a young mind which you and your child will never tire of reading.
Great for older preschool as shows a lot sea and land animals that they may have never seen before. Lovely illustrations that are quite unusual and are attractive for young children. Sweet little story. I really love the extra facts and web links at the end of the book as this great for exploring the animals shown in the book. It really links fiction and nonfiction well.

This book is a cute little book to introduce young readers to life in the Arctic water in general and Narwhals in specific. Without even noticing, children are introduced to many other creatures that share the Narwhal's habitat. We LOVED the fun facts at the end of the book, as these were perfect for my older son to read aloud and learn even more. What absolutely blew us away are the adorable and stunning illustrations. We could literally feel the waves and the cold. I'd highly recommend this book.
