It’s really not fair of me to say anything about this until a few months from now. It’s a raincoat and I’ll be lucky to see any of that before December or so. Until then it’s a windbreaker. I am still extremely pleased with this and I’m hoping for earlier. My only wish is that I could have found a cream coloured one. It’s classic. This is my second London Fog. The first time out I got the wrong length. Too short. I had hoped for one with a hood, but decided to do without. It’s not like we see a lot of rain, anyway. I just happen to like hoods. This one is a very nice length, mid-calf, an easy fit and is unlined. I went a size larger than what I usually wear for layering purposes. When layering it’s easier if it’s unlined or completely lined. The too short one was partly lined. The belt is long and can be tied in front or back. I like the belt, although some don’t, which is understandable. It’s got a buckle and if you use that in the front there’s a very long hang, even if you skip the buckle and tie it. There’s no need to tie a knot and leave it hanging. You can easily run it through the guides to shorten it. Me, I like to tie it in the back. You can almost weave it first. The really good thing there is that it doesn’t change the fit. You can still button it up. It’s my favourite raincoat ever. Next up I’ll be looking for a double breasted pea coat. I hope this is helpful to someone.
I was very disappointed!!! I expected to be completed satisfied with a “London Fog” product/ I wasn’t! Fabric, style and fit were all “off!” It was even heavy to lift out of the packaging! Needless to say, I returned it for a full refund.
