A big disappointment

I had high hopes for these jeans. I was hopeful that a company had produced an affordable, shaping, jean. I usually, wear a higher end brand that I love. But, when these popped up across my screen I thought I’d give them a try. The sizing was the first thing that threw me off, usually pull on jeans of this type come in small, medium, large, extra-large etc . These came an actual sizes. So I ordered a size 8 as that would be the equivalent of a medium. When they arrived I was truly surprised at the quality of the fabric! That’s where it all ended. When I put them on the waist was a little big the rise was a little low and the legs bunched up creating circles around my legs making my legs look like the Michelin man. I thought perhaps it was the length of the jeans, so I rolled them up and thought that they would hang better no such luck. No matter what I did I couldn’t get the jeans just move down and not bunch up around my legs. I suppose if you have exceptionally firm thin limbs these are your jeans, if you have anything beyond that steer clear.

In hindsight, I should have looked at the reviews closer and the photos, I’m not the only one who experienced this with this particular jean. Lesson learned

The quality was good initially, and within 2 months the seam has completely fallen apart and they now have a significant and noticeable hole. For nearly $80, to say I’m disappointed that they lasted LESS THAN 2 MONTHS is a HUGE understatement.

I own other pairs of this Lysse but the dye odor on this pair from Amazon is overwhelming even after washing with vinegar and other recommended odor reducers. Disappointed!
