I love the zipper pockets. Extremely useful.

I used the pants for a fishing trip, in the pouring rain. My legs stayed dry and warm. I didn't try sitting down as I assumed my butt would get wet.

Pros: They look pretty nice when worn.
Zipper pockets on front and back.
Fleece lining.
Elastic waist band.
Great price.

Cons: the all black ones, without bright zipper handles and stitching that I wanted were more expensive.

* I didn't risk sitting down on wet surfaces to test it. For the price, I think they are a great buy.

Pants fit well and are warm ,also seem waterproof . However , my order was for 5 pocket pants ,I got the 4 pocket pants ,no big deal , the big deal is that these pants don't breath at all . I live in the mts. of south central B.C. . I hike and snowshoe up and down mts. where one works up a sweat . I've worn these pants on my last two 4-5 hr. hikes and have come back with not only my underware soaked but the fleece linning soaked as well . Very disappointed . they would be good for ice-fishing or for people who go easy when outdoors . can NOT recommend at all . Truly R.M. also very surprised no one mentioned this in other reviews

You may read a lot of bad comments or some complaints, but at this price and for the results for me it's a 5☆
Price is super good, quality very good, strongly made, super insulation for the model with second layer inside.

I wear those pants without first base in a -35 weather, working outside or shoveling : its a wow !

For hiking...unfortunately the material is not so breathable so you may sweat a bit. I did an 8kms hike at -25 into 1ft of fresh snow it worked like a charm beside the flanel inside which was humide.

I'll buy another pair!

This was my third attempt to buy decent waterproof pants for outdoor activity. After returning 2 previous items to Amazon, I'm finally happy with the quality of this pants. Size 36/ 30" long fits perfectly to me. I wear jeans of 36 - so it is true to the size, not too bulky, not too tight - exactly what I was looking for. The outer fabric looks really wear and water resistant. The fleece lining makes pants feel very comfortable and suitable for a cold a windy weather. Zipped pockets looks cool and allow you to keep your keys or phone safe. The yesterday "drive test" in the forest went excellent.
