If Amazon's returns process wasn't so involved and annoying, I would have returned this for a full refund. It's a junk version of what you think you're buying. The dome with stars doesn't clip into the base, just sits on top as if it's not part of the same product. If you moved the base, it would simply come off. The night light function is non-existent. When you turn the projector on, red lights flash where the numbers should be as if it's about to shut down at any moment. It's just a junk product designed to lure your cash away from you. Amazon should take off the market

Using it in my 6 year old daughters room

There are plenty of options as far as variation in light colours, and it has a nite light option (just white light) My daughter like it full on (all light colours) with the rotating feature engaged.

I like the fact that it has a timer. I set it to 10 minutes...and when I talk her in...we talk for a while...by the time it turns off she is relaxed and ready to fall asleep

The stars and moons are a bit soft on the edge the further away the projection surface is (as has been mentioned in other reviews) but it's not a deal killer.

Very happy with the purchase.
