The PreCip Men's Rain Jacket features Marmot's comfortable and breathable NanoPro waterproofing technology. NanoPro coating is comprised of densely packed pores small enough to keep water droplets from getting in, but big enough to let water vapor out—providing cool, dry comfort even as your activity level increases. The PreCip also features fully taped seams to prevent leaks, an attached hood that rolls up when not in use, and a Driclime chin guard that protects against scratching when the jacket is fully zipped. If interior heat should begin to build up, simply open the Pitzips—zippered ventilation openings under the arms—to increase air flow. Your arms will retain full mobility through it all, thanks to the built-in Angel-Wing Movement. When the weather lets up, you can stuff the entire jacket into its interior pocket and stash it in your pack.

Is fantastically light weight and can be compressed down to a very small size.
The fit is great and the material is definately 100% waterproof, was caught in a very heavy downpour in the Cheviots yesterday and it kept me dry. The rain just beads right off as you would expect.
The breathability of the jacket can be a possible issue. I wore just a t-shirt under the jacket yesterday and my actual body was fine but where my bare arms touched the insides of the sleeves I absoutely poured with sweat, it was literally dripping from my fingers as I walked.
I would advise wearing something long sleeved under this as I will be doing next time and I know it will be spot on.
Would definately recommend.
Is as described, waterproof, windproof, and breathable... The latter surprised me as waterproof jackets previously made me too hot... tbf they were cheaper brand.
This jacket is definitely worth the money given its well over a year old, and due to quality and the amount of rain we get in UK it's cheap in the context l have a great rain jacket, l often wear a fleece under it when weather is cold and wet.... A decent rain jacket is definitely worth getting.. this is also packable..
