This nightgown is very comfortable and soft. It fits well, not too big or too small, it is a good length and not too flashy, (can wear around chrildren) without a robe. The color is very pretty and I felt sexy to go to bed!
Exactly what I was looking for. Very comfortable and very glad I read reviews prior to buying! I'm usually an XL (5'7 170) but the medium was perfect. Only flaw is the adjustable straps like to loosen and not stay where I wany them
Oh my gosh, I LOVE the feel of this gown. Super soft and comfy. I feel it run true to size. I'm 5'4" and 138-140 lbs and medium fits well. The care instructions say professional dry cleaning recommended...for a nightgown!! I don't think so, but I haven't laundered it yet. I'll update review if it falls apart afterward.
Overall it’s pretty nice. The material, both the lace and jersey, are very soft and comfortable to sleep in. However, I do have a few complains. The first is, even with the straps as long as the can go, it still rides way up, kinda making the whole boob area go above it’s appointed area. Let me add to that, that I am not a busty lady, so it shouldn’t be an issue. Second is that this kinda looks like a maternity dress for women who are in the earlier stages of showing. There material kinda gathers around the stomach area. It’s not a bad thing, especially for those pizza baby nights, but it is a little odd. The third thing is that after wearing it to bed one night (a very uneventful night), the lace around the bust line tore away from the jersey material of the skirt. Bummer.
I was looking for at home wear that was cotton. The navy blue twin of this gown popped up and showed 95% cotton/5% polyester. I can live with that, so I ordered the navy blue and the purple. They came thru the wash great and I put on the purple one but thru the evening it felt more and more like I was wearing a plastic bag. Reading the tag on the gown...90% polyester/10% cotton. NOT what I wanted. Please Amazon, make sure the wording in the ad says EXACTLY what you're shipping.
I love this one! I don't feel like "my girls" are going to fall out when I sleep on side (like other skimpy gowns do). Fits well. I'm 5'5" 170 and wear L/XL in women's depending on the cut. Large in this fits great and has plenty of room because of the cut. I'm definitely ordering another and am pretty sure a medium will also fit.
I love this nightgown. It’s not that sort of slimy cotton blend, it feels more like straight-up cotton. I’m 18 weeks pregnant and even though it’s not a maternity nightgown, it’s perfect for that because it’s sort of pleated along the busy, giving extra fabric by the belly. In my non-pregnant life I’m typically a medium or a large (for a nightgown more a medium). So, I ordered a medium and it fits great. I got the red/burgundy color and it’s very pretty. I will be buying more of these, I love them.
Amid Europe’s biggest heatwave, I found out on night #1 of my trip what I suspected the moment I took this darling sleep dress out of the package. It’s simply *not* cotton. It doesn’t breathe at all, simultaneously doesn’t wick moisture away but also holds it indefinitely. This is absolutely not what you want if you’re looking for something with which to fashionable keep cool on warm nights.
