Mibao Our door mat has an attractive appearance that would decorate your sweet houses. It is made of nature rubber and wicking polypropylene instead of recycling materials.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The size and softness under your feet is great for a doormat. The smell was so strong that even after a month of it being in the garage to air out, it was still too strong and had to send it back.
Our last entry way rug was a little smaller than this but it's edges kept catching on the bottom of the door when it opened. Eventually parts of it ripped and tore from this and then we tried cutting it and trimming it so it wouldn't catch on the door but it was always a problematic rug. We've used similar rugs all with the same results replacing it every several years when it's just too far gone.
This rug is slightly larger than our other rugs have been so it covers more and I was worried that it might mean it catches in even more places on the door but it must be a lower profile than the other one by just enough because our door opens and glides smoothly over top of this carpet. It is pretty thick feeling and it feels nice under foot. It's easy to vacuum and the design on it is really nice looking. It surprisingly looks a little bit classier than the typical doormat rugs like this tend to look. It feels more durable than the other rugs I've used too. It is a little bit more expensive than the other rugs but I think worth it since it doesn't catch on my door all the time, looks nicer, and seems more durable. I would guess this rug will last a lot longer than the ones I've bought in the past making the upfront cost better in the long run since I won't have to replace it as quickly.
I should have paid attention to the dimensions it is HUGE which actually is good since I decided to put it outside in front of our slider instead of in the garage by the back door.
I did ding a star because it took much longer than expected to air out and stop curling up. One of the reasons why it's going outside rather than the garage.
