I'm an intermediate figure painter. Considering the price of these brushes it's a pretty good value. Brushes are easy to hold, have a decent tip, do a fair job at unloading paint. I like the fact that I can get 4 of the same size brush instead of buying a pack of 10 where I'm not going to use six or seven of the brushes. The customer service is excellent as I have contacted Chloe (owner, manager, distributor???) on a couple of occasions.
The problem is with their quality control. One pack I bought had brushes in it that didn'teven look like they were the same size. I have had to buy and return multiple packs to get a single good set of 4. When you finally get a good set they do a good job. I've been using number #0 and #1s for a little while and they are holding up well so far. You should realize that for this price they will not stand up to constant use like a more expensive brush, nor should they.
I recently bought a couple DaVinci brushes, which I believe a single brush cost more than this pack, and I sent them back as the tips were horrible.
IMO these are a solid workhorse that you can beat to crap for not a lot of money.
I rated this as a 4 because I like the brush, if I was rating my overall experience with getting good brushes I would probably rate at 2 or 2 and 1/2.
