Excellent lamp - great on the eyes

Pulled the trigger after this released and good comments on the Xiaomi one that is similar.
Thoughts:
* Great design - it has the height and is adjustable.
* Build is similar to ikea - easy to take apart and came in compact packaging
* Dimmable / light quality itself is excellent - uses a touch pad / soft buttons on the top.

Would be great to have a remote or app but might be asking for too much. All in all, very happy with the purchase.

This was a gift so I can't comment on the efficiency of the lamp directly.... I can say wife has given this a limited test (with greeting card making) and is happy so far but really not enough usage time has elapsed to comment with any authority. Easy to assemble - yes, and it seems to work as advertised, product is lightweight but sturdy, baseplate seems entirely adequate to prevent any hint of tipping in normal usage, delivery was swift and packaging sturdy, included instruction sheet was adequate, on/off etc buttons were easy to find but a bit tricky requiring a touch rather than a firm press. Had trouble establishing (company) extended warranty which you need to do online (page 404 error then must login screen with no further information), emailed support and response was rapid, providing a working link where I was easily able to secure the extended warranty - but it should be easy to do off the bat IMHO. Note print on the warranty info card that came with product was too tiny for these old eyes and I MAY have mistyped BUT, again, this should not be a problem with a bit of of thought by the manufacturer in drawing up the card in the first place.

Edit: my only issue after using this a few days is that it is hard to operate the switches from below in the dark as the sensors are flush on top of the lamp head fitting. Would be much better if there was more defined texture on both switches to assist in locating them in the dark.
