The balls have different finishes. The ornament pieces where ok. Some pieces where small and fragile. The Santa heads and stars were descent sized.

My dad and I have had a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit since my grandmother died shortly before, and it was her favorite holiday. Our entire family would get together at her house every year. But afterward our family started going to the other side of their families for Christmas. It was only natural, they had kids and such. But I don't and non of us are close to our other side of our families.

But my stepmother has tried to get us into the Christmas spirit and decorate. But many years ago our tree ornaments got "trapped" under our crawl space. And every year we get a tree, put up lights, promise to dig out the ornaments, but never do. It always disappoints my stepmother.

My dad can't get down on his hands and knees anymore and I have had 2 back surgeries so it's hard for me. But we should at least help her, but our lack of spirit, makes us sh*tty people.

This has been a particularly hard. We lost 3 pets, one the week before Christmas, and we were evacuated for 2 weeks because of the wildfires in Oregon. They came within a mile of our house.

My stepmother didn't expect ornaments this year, we were all just exhausted from everything. But I decided the day we lost our dog, that she deserved something special, and our tree with lights was already up.

I had these shipped as soon as possible and they got here just in time. So Christmas Eve, after she'd gone to bed, my dad and I stayed up and decorated the tree.

We actually laughed and found ourselves reminiscing about past Christmases. This set had everything. The little felt ornaments were adorable. And all of the other little ornaments made the tree look more like a tree you would have if you'd have if you'd been collecting them over the years. Not completely uniform. And the balls were beautiful.

My stepmother was so surprised and loved it so much we kept the tree up well past what we normally would. It was perfect!

I will say, buy hooks. You're definitely going to need them. Especially for the smaller ornaments.

these are plastic ornaments so I don't forsee them lasting long especially the glittery ones. We had some like this before and they made it maybe two years and they were scratched etc. These are good filler bulbs. The little presents remind me of ornaments from when I was little. Brought back some memories. :)
