See the video for the construction quality. They fit as expected after I put them on. They fit like a light weight stretch leotard. It is a close fit. Don't expect the "compression" to smooth out back rolls or anything like that. It reveals what's really there. For yoga it holds its placement well. It won't flip up over my head and it does hold over my belly, rather than roll up to the thinnest part of my waist. Overall, for the three pack, it was worth the money.
I bought the black, gray, and white pack of these. I read the reviews that said to buy smaller if you want a compression effect, so I bought a size small, thinking that since I normally wear mediums due to having a large chest, I should at least get a small so the girls will fit. The size small is still too big to be skin tight, but I am still happy with the shirts overall. I do think they are lightweight, well-made, and have good sweat wicking ability. I really like the price of these, and think that they are great quality for what you pay. I will probably look into purchasing more in the future.
I was looking for tank tops that I could wear to sleep in that would be tight and stretchy enough to keep my girls supported. I'm a 36DD and I hate those tanks with the built in bras so I was very excited to find these tops. I ordered the large size for bust size 35-39 inches. I measure 41 around my bust and these tops provide NO support for me. It was like wearing any fitted tank top which is pretty disappointing seeing as how these claim they're compression tops. I even bought a smaller size than I should have and they still didn't compress anything. I'm going to keep them because I'll use them for working out and they're comfortable and good quality. I'm not sure if I'm going to try the medium size. I'll update my review if I get the medium size and find those give me the results I'm looking for.
I bought these for working out and to see how they would be to use as an undershirt as well. I bought the small because I wanted them to fit snuggly under other clothes. I am 130 pounds, athletic build and a full C cup bra size. They fit me snuggly and at this time, I probably would not wear them in public without something over them as I have a little weight to lose around the bra line in the back and it shows through. The medium might be better for me to wear without something over it, but I plan to keep these for working out and for undershirts. I have washed them a few times now and they have not gotten fuzzies nor have they lost their color or shape from the wash. I hang them to dry. They are a good value for the price. And as many others have written, they are not compression garments.
If your looking for something to help smooth your shape and hold you in, these are not the shirts you need. If you want a skin-tight thin racer-back, then size normally; if you want a normal workout racer-back go 1-2 sizes up. These are nice, but not what they are marketed as. There is no compression. A “tight” (ie too small fitting) shirt does not equal compression because this is not the right fabric for that. Other wise the colors are pretty and material feels nice if you want a regular athlesiure top.
Nice but not as form fitting as i would like i ordered my reg us size xl maybe should have just gotten a large, but i have to say compared to other sellers at amazon on items ive purchased, these colors are very brilliant and are very true to the picture i may order more, but i only like bright colors for summer and darker colors for fall and winter, which it maybe too cold to wear these except they would be good under clothes im 5 ft 4 weigh 147 bust are 38d US size , ladies please when submitting reviews can you say your height weight bust as well as what size you purchased, it helps other shoppers to see if an item will fit them and we all save time, thx and happy shopping!!!!
Cons: I agree from some of the other reviewers that these aren't "compression" tanks. They're somewhat fitting, but not enough that they should be considered "compression" tanks. They're also not as long as I personally like to have mine - they're good for those who wear their pants a little higher than I do. That's just a personal preference though.
Pros: I love the material. Light weight and very comfortable. They almost have a fairly silky feel to them. Quality seems to be very nice - have only had them for about a month or so but my wife and I wear them constantly. Going to buy more to have a variety of colors.
I really like these tank tops mostly to go under other shirts but I could wear them stand long while working out. I bought them because they say compression but they are definitely not compression although they are fitted and stretch. Even though they didn’t do exactly what I bought them for I still like them and would recommend them for general wear.
I really like the quality of these tanks. They look like they’re perfect for working out in (I work out frequently). I didn’t buy them for that reason though. I just had surgery and bought them because I needed something tight around my abdomen. These tanks said they were compression, so I figured I’d give them a try. These tanks are not compression like advertised. Good quality? Yes. Perfect for working out? Yes. Form-fitting? Yes. Compression? Err, not so much.
I only received these tops today but they seem well-constructed. They are comfortable and flattering and will be great for practicing yoga and general gym activities like cardio machines, weights, etc. which is what I intend to use them for. I took a star off only because they are definitely not "compression" tops. The material is lighter and less constricting than many of the yoga/gym type tops I have that are not advertised as compression wear. This happens to work just fine for me, it's just not what they're advertised to be.
As a side note, I found that the tops fit about the way any other t-shirt or athletic top would. I generally wear a small or extra small top. I chose the small just to be safe because I saw several reviews stating the tops were on the tight side. The small fits fine but I could have probably gone down a size and been fine too.
