Hint: Use two pieces of wax paper, parchment paper or saran wrap to line each side before placing the ball of dough in the press. This will keep your tortillas from sticking to the press. Not intended for flour tortillas.

This product is dangerous and shouldn't be sold in Amazon. I also have my doubts about this product being allowed in Ireland.
The issue is that when you press your tortilla using the handle, the material (aluminium) can't hold the pressure and it leaves traces of aluminium that ends up mixing with your dough. So if you wouldn't notice, you'd be eating aluminium! I tried a couple of times, after washing and cleaning the press because I thought perhaps it wasn't the material producing small aluminium traces but just remains of the manufacturing process of the press. But I was wrong. Traces are produced every time I use the press. You can see the pics attached. Pity I couldn't use the press during the return window, I'd definitely return this item.

After reading some of the negative reviews I was reluctant to buy this little gadget but seen that it was so cheap I went ahead and ordered one.
I received it in less than 24 hours and straight away put it to the test to make some arepas andI must say that I love it.
It is very light and a good size for a small kitchen like mine.
Yes, the size of the tortillas are smaller than average but that's not a problem to me because Ithey are a good size to me.
Don't believe the negative reviews, buy one and try it for yourself.

A lot of the reviews say that the tortillas end up being too small. I almost didn't buy it for that reason. I think they are perfect size! I am glad I bought it. Proper tortilla size. I'm from Latin America and I think they are perfect size.

Wasn't expecting much after reading all the terrible reviews but it is even worse than expectation.
The panels don't shut close enough to make anything that you couldn't do with a quick roll of a rolling pin, therefore, it saves no time from rolling at all.
