The cons would be that you’re paying for the North Face name, top is very thin (not exactly fully see-thru but I wore a black bra purposely because you can see it a bit), & runs a bit large imo. I’ve gained some weight during the pandemic so I’m having to buy new sizes & different styles that are more flattering for not-so-skinny bodies. This top is loose & flows/swings so not tight in the body section but is more fitted thru the arms, which works for my current body shape. The material is mostly (if not all) polyester so you can stretch it but not like cotton. But the material works for this top & will likely hold up for a long time if washed properly. Versatile as in you can make it look casual, dressy, or as a workout top. Can work for the gym paired w yoga pants/leggings & sneakers or a more dressy look with some pencil-leg pants/jeggings, booties or heels, add some jewelry, & you’d be good to go.
I am 5’6”, 155-160 now, & have a smushy post-baby belly area with some random back chub here & there. I usually wear a M or L unless I want a baggy oversized look & I can wear an XL. I bought a size L in white & it fits great. I could have went down to a M but it may have been shorter in the front & back. The front is just long enough to wear leggings without feeling “exposed” in the front. I can tuck in a small section into my mid/high-rise jeans without an issue.
Overall, I recommend buying your usual size or sizing-down if you want it more fitted. I could probably find a similar style from Avia at Walmart but not going to lie, I like the small North Face logo on the bottom hem. Subtle but cute!
