This is my second Osito II jacket. The first one was off-white (I don't remember the official name of the color) and had to be washed all the time, so I wanted a darker second one. At Dicks Sporting Goods, I had seen a purple jacket - not available anymore - which looked like the one on the photo. I was surprised that the color of my new jacket differed quite a bit. Other than that, it's just the perfect jacket to be worn from October through April (upstate New York!).

It is really soft and warm which is perfect for Southern California winter time. My only concern with The North Face Osito's jacket is that over time, the fluffy thick soft jacket becomes flat and looks like one is wearing a worn wet fur. To be fair, it took a couple of years of weekly washing from daily wearing to turn this way.

The color is wonderful, it’s SO soft. The pickets zip closed. The neck is perfectly snug around the neck. It’s wonderful!! I will definitely be buying many more colors :) I am 120 pounds and bought the XS and it’s perfect!
