Alex and Theo are ridiculously hot and swoon worthy together! I’ve been dying for Theo’s story ever since book 1, and it is everything I hoped for. It is a fun ride watching how he grappled with his regret and feelings for his best friend, Elijah (who is still madly in love with Theo’s brother, Pax, of course), and then getting to see him truly fall in love with his adorably geeky roommate, Alex. And yes, they do burn up the sheets together and there is some delicious kinky exploration, but what made them a wonderful pairing is the way Theo treats Alex. His determination to give Alex everything he missed out on during his childhood is so wholesome and made my heart do many happy flips. Although this can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend this whole series!
There were a couple of times I laughed out loud during reading this, which is rare for me. I'm much more of a grinnner than a lol'er. Sweet, lost Alex and sexy, kind Theo are just a lovely couple and I thoroughly enjoyed their story. The writing is, of course, super tight and the tension is great too.
I adored the other books in this series but this one just fell I little down for me. The characters didn’t come alive, I really couldn’t get a feel for them and had to keep reminding me which was which. ‘Oh yeah Alex is the physics one. Theo is Pax’s brother’. Honestly at any given time any of the lines of dialogue could have been swapped between them without any feeling of dissonance. Slow and meandering, I struggled to get invested. I’d highly recommend the first two books. This one I could live without.
I found myself smiling almost constantly while reading this book...as well as giggling every now and again. Theo and Alex are adorable. This book was a joy to read!
Alex & Theo are adorable roommates turned friends with benefits before realizing they are madly in love with each other. Their story is super steamy and low angst.
I loved catching up with the MCs from the previous two books in the Love Logic series especially Nerdlet
