I have to read many change titles every year in order that I am prepared for the inevitable client question relating to this month's new airport bookstall missive on change. Far less frequently I get to actually read something that is timely, fresh in its perspective and presentation, and actionable. This is one of those rare titles. It has distilled down the essence of the 'insider's ' know-how, without treating its readers like fools. We only encourage our interested senior clients to find time to read Herrero's Viral Change, and now we shall add this title as well. Worth every moment of your time to read. 10/10

This was a great book! If you need a smart, practical approach to communicate organizational changes that has a positive and lasting effect, this book is what you need. The part I liked best was how it all starts with listening. It is only when you fully understand the scope, context and perspectives of those involved that you will then have the best outcomes. As a department manager at my company, I found many of the key take aways so helpful. Great book!

Our organization had to make some major adjustments recently due to the coronavirus. More specifically, we had to think strategically about remodeling our training program for the time being. Previously my preparation would consist mainly of crafting a message for those impacted by the change. However, Marmon's strategy for change management broadened my perspective for times of transition. For example, Marmon's method for reaching out to organizational influencers and change champions in the planning stage was exactly what I needed for everyone to be prepared for (and even excited about!) our new initiatives. I recommend this book for anyone who is looking for a fresh and holistic perspective that makes change not only possible but also fun!
