1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money. Just buy a fan!

I've tried everything to make this worth it. I used large ice cubes, crushed ice, froze the filter but it still puts out semi cold air, about as cool as a regular tiny fan but costs 3 times the price. I realize it's small, and is not supposed to cool an entire room but it doesn't even blow out significantly cool air or blow out very forceful - even on high. Just get a tiny little a fan, sip ice water and sit next to a color changing nightlight instead. I'm not sure how or why this product has so many positive reviews, either they are paid or these satisfied customers forgot to include that this air conditioner is really a play toy for Barbie's Dreamhouse.

1.0 out of 5 stars Meh.

I would invite people who write excellent reviews of this product to load it up with clean water, turn it on, and set it next to a regular fan. The difference is measurable but negligible. When you freeze the pads and put ice in the water the difference is somewhat less negligible. On a very hot day, this effect lasts roughly an hour.

The fan in the unit is the cheapest part of the design. In my case, it's out of balance and makes the table shake a little. I expect it to fall apart any day now.

Then there's the noise itself. Mine is so loud I can't sleep with it on, which is fine: I use a fan, which works just as well.

It will not - Read this: NOT - cool a small room. It will cool a part of a small room, maybe the part you're sitting in. It is not "air conditioning": it is a crappy little plastic swamp cooler, and as the design execution is absolutely abysmal that its performance is equally abysmal.

Not worth $15, much less this panic price they sent up to accommodate a particularly hot summer.

TL;DR: crappy components, crappy design. Not worth it IMO.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected

I ordered this due to the fact it offered cold air. The first time I used it I wet the filter put cold water and ice in it like suggested, didn't get a chance to freeze the filter. It did not go for 10 hrs like it said it would with a full tank, still doesn't. The next day I went to use it, all the water/ice leaked do the bottom of the tray and was leaking. Cleaned it up, dried it out and tried again, it does seem the more I use it the cooler the air gets. I am not 100% happy with it but it does cool me off, personally. It does not cool off a dorm room sized space, do not expect that.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible, horrible product - waste of $40

I received this product yesterday 6/8/21 and was only on for 10 minutes! Even on low it's so loud, on high sounds like a jet getting ready to take off! I'm extremely disappointed, I only bought for use on my night stand and there's NO WAY I would've got any rest.. also it really didn't get that cool & I put the filter under running water and into the freezer AND I put ice cubes in with the water in tiny tank,,, IMO it's a total waste of $40!! And NO option to turn the LED lights off & the machine itself is so tiny... Epic fail!!!!

Waste of time. Intel answered my question and said it comes with usb power cord. It doesn’t. They’ve given me the runaround all week. I bought another brand for less money with usb and ac cord.

2.0 out of 5 stars Dont Know What To Think.

It's not loud but I dont know if it's the water running though it or what but it makes a soft screeching sound with the fan. Sometimes it turns off for like a minute so I dont know what that's about...It also leaks at the bottom and we never over filled it or anything. We read all the instructions correctly and did everything by the book but its leaking. Another unfortunate thing is that the plastic think to pull on to open it to get to the filter also broke off extremely easy. Idk if we just have a default one but the original artic air we had never had problems like this....my overall review. Not worth your penny to gamble weather you get a good one or not.

1.0 out of 5 stars Defective
Reviewed in the United States on 8 June 2021

This product is not good. To begin with, the filter drawer sticks. You literally have to pull from the top to get it open. The unit at it's lowest setting is very loud and the worse is that the water leaks out everywhere. So it does meet the cooling capacity as described. I thought maybe it was just first day usage, but after a week I'm boxing it up to be returned never to visit this brand again. Consumers these little units are very popular, but this one is just not worth the 40 dollars I paid for it. Does not recommend it at this time until they fix all the defects with it. I You-Tubed it and the defects were there in the testing. Not good at all. The man demonstrating it said you could get up to 6 hours of chilled air and that's not true. The water you can clearly see running from the bottom of unit. Only good for a nightlight. Consumers again, I'm sure there are other brands that work well, this isn't one of them.
