To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Es bastante buen producto, la goma antideslizante se siente de buena calidad. Un detalle menor quizá es la forma en cómo viene empaquetado pues viene doblado y se cuadricula un poco el tapete, aunque eventualmente toma una forma más natural.
Who's kidding? These slide around CONSTANTLY. You'd think a name like "Gorilla Grip" would be non-slip right? Re-read the listing carefully. It has "strong backing," but is definitely not going to stay put. You'll have to adjust and re-adjust for the rest of your life. If you're looking for a solution to that issue look elsewhere. Pros: It is definitely plush, true to size and color.
There is very little grip on this at all. It slips and slides every time I step on it. Last night, I was stepping out of the shower and onto this... And it had somehow gotten water under it. I slipped and fell and nearly wound up in the hospital. No joke.
Love the Gorilla non-slip bath mat. It stays in place and absorbs water better than every other mat I have bought. It's soft and looks great. Now I don't have to worry about slipping when I get out of the shower because my bath rug is out of place plus the floor stays dry. Great product!
We had to replace our microfiber bath mat and my spouse chose this one. Let me tell you - I did everything I could to talk him out of it. I immediately cringed at those long, grippy nodes that I did not want to put my feet on. It's a mat that looks like you're stepping in mud that oozes between your toes. Why would you do that to yourself?
So the mat and I had a rough start. I'd try to avoid it getting out of the shower - laying a towel down and scooting my way to the rugs in the bedroom. When my husband saw me doing this, he encouraged me to just try it.
And I changed my mind. It's like stepping in mud if mud was made of little cotton balls. It's very soft, very absorbent, and easy to clean off. I would recommend it.
Considering the similar rugs available at lower prices, I am a little disappointed that I can still see where the chenille connects to the base of the rug as it lays on the floor giving it a lined looked. It’s not full enough as I expected by paying double what I initially intended to. I purchased 2 rugs. Both have this same lacking of fullness. I thought I was getting a ‘good deal’ by buying a rug utilizing the name brand Gorilla Grip.... well... in that manner they do hold true and are very non-slip, so kudos to their marketing team. I’m keeping them because I figure the cheaper ones will not look better and likely won’t hold as well to the floor, however I would not purchase these again.
I’ve had this rug for a year and there is nothing special about it. It stays in place for a short time when it’s new, but it quickly starts sliding all over the place, it’s extremely thin under the little “chenille’ things that stick up, the chenille things get crushed where you frequently stand and there is a lot of space between them. Also debris gets trapped under the chenille things. It looks like the price has gone up quite a bit as I paid around $15. It’s interesting that such a blah rug has so many 5 star ratings.
In general, I always recommend sorting Amazon reviews by ‘most recent’ (default is ‘most helpful’). That way if five star reviews were incentivized early on, you might get a more accurate mix of reviews by looking at the more recent ones. This is particularly helpful for items with a high number of reviews and/or that have been listed for a long time.
Based on other's reviews I thought this would feel good underneath my feet. It is horrible. I should have replaced my memory foam mats with another set of memory foam mats. Also, the color is not as pictured. The gray is more of a blue than what is shown.
