Absolutely love this skirt for tennis. Its a tad bit longer to cover the not-so-perfect thighs, comfortable, and easy to move in for tennis. I am normally a medium but ordered a large and the large is slightly big but it still looks great. The only problem is that it says " HAND WASH ONLY! While I would like to order many different colors, the hand wash only is a no go. Especially when you're sweating in the Florida sun, playing tennis. Will see how it goes when I put in the gentle cycle. One thing for sure, you would definitely not be able to put in the drier. So its air dry. Will follow up with results when I machine wash. UPdate: put in the delicate cycle, cold water and took immediatel out of washer and hung to dry. Turned out just fine with no shrinkage.
I really like this skort except that the elastic waistband is too uncomfortable for me. I'm returning. It is a thin elastic on top which I did not realize. I hate thin elastics against my waist like that. It was also a touch tight, while not being fitted enough elsewhere to size up without looking too baggy. If you wear classic underwear with the thin elastics and have a small waist, this shouldn't bother you. I'm just picky about that kind of thing. The rest of the skort is fantastic. Light, soft, perfect under shorts. For reference, my measurements are 29" waist and 35" upper hip/37" lower. I'm 5' 4". The waistband fell at/ below my belly button (either worked) and the length was about 4" above knee give or take.
Love it will probably order again. Only negative is the shorts are too thin and slightly more lose than expected may need smaller size. The shorts ride up my inner thighs when walking and if I don't constantly pull back down I will end up with a forest fire between my thighs. Lol I would also prefer 2 pockets one on each side and maybe a waistband pocket would be a nice addition. My waist is about 45 to 50 inches and these are not quite as snug as I like. But snug enough to stay up and are very comfortable for quick errands or swimming. Can't walk to much cause the shorts ride up inner thighs. I way try smaller size to see if that fixes the issue because I live in skorts in the summer time.
This skirt is very flattering. But it's a skort, so it's double the fabric and it's basically made out of swim suit material. So if you live in Texas where we sit on the threshold of hell all summer, and especially on the days that it's humid, it's really not all that comfortable. I wore it walking and can't even imagine playing tennis or any other active sport in it. (And I wish it had a pocket.) I'll wear this when it cools off (in late October), but for now, it sits in the drawer.
Light weight, comfortable and very stretchy. I do like these however, be aware these have zero compression. if you have bulges or rolls it does nothing to hide it. They come just to belly button. The shorts underneath are fairly loose. Haven't had any ride up or roll down. Your panty lines Will show. I'd do a thong or no undies. It's a swim suit type material, so watch for snags when wearing. I ordered Medium, fits perfect.
I'm 5'6" and 174lbs (bit of a belly). I got the L as it's my usual size but it's slightly loose especially the shorts parts. The fabric wrinkles/folds-up maybe due to being loose. I don't know. I'm ordering the M to compare. Although, you can see my no-seem underwear lines with the L so not sure if the M will be worse. They are super comfy trying on. I have not given them a day's hiking try nor washed them yet. I'll update after that and had pic of the L and M.
I have gotten several compliments on this skirt. Very comfortable and flattering. I am 5'6 and 150 lbs. the length is great and not clingy at all. I purchased a large and it was perfect. I really like the pattern goes well with a navy blue t-shirt. I'm not sure I will ever use the cell phone pocket and the plastic ring for a head phone is really not necessary. I hand washed it as recomentded and it was easy. I like it so much I have purchased two more. Will travel well and very flattering. I am 55 years old and looking for comfort and style and this skirt fits the bill for both.
Just got done playing a few hours of PickleBall wearing this new skort for the first time. Super comfortable and stayed put, no riding up or sliding down. I wish this skort made me play better, but that’s not it’s job HA HA. My only desire would be for a drawstring at the waist as I am assuming the fabric and elasticity will stretch out at some point. I am hoping this skort will be durable and last a reasonable amount of time for me. We shall see.
Love this skort-I’m 60 years old and wasn’t comfortable doing my neighborhood walking each day in running shorts (well, I didn’t want to scare small children). This provides a little more coverage, is nice enough looking that I don’t feel the need to change out of it to run to the store. Love the hidden pocket on the undershorts for my phone. Only negative is that the shorts underneath do ride up a bit with more active movement (I do two miles in a little over 30 minutes), but not with casual activity.
