Shorts under skirt are too short

While this skort is very comfortable and I wanted to love it, the shorts underneath are too short. I like the tight feeling of the under short but these don't hug my thighs and ride up (and trust me, I have plenty of thigh to cling to). To the returns it will go.

Likes: Cute design. Functional (large pocket on bike short style pants under skirt)
Dislikes: Tends to get hot- 2 layers and non-breathable material. Looks better from afar than up close (again, cheap shiny polyester material becomes obvious). Odd hole in the back (for cables).
For the price it works but the material other companies (e.g. Columbia) use for their skorts is much better (lookswise and functionally).

I ordered three of these skorts in XL. Snake/python print fit well and I got a lot compliments. White XL was way too small and you could see the outline of the shorts hem through the white skirt part. This black/white skort called print 3 in XL was bigger than the white, but smaller than the snake/python print. Really wanted to get more than one of these skorts, but can't rely on the sizing.

Phone liner is awkward
