Not waterproof!

Great fit, but the one I have is not waterproof! Twice now during med/heavy rain the water has gone through and soaked the furniture. The chairs are the 'bucket' type and so the water has just been sitting in the chair and has actually stained the white furniture. There are great reviews for this product which is why I bought it so maybe a just got a dud. Material feels very thin.

I am really impressed with this purchase. It is very durable great quality material. It is waterproof and thick quality material that protects your outdoor furniture. It is as described and is easy to evenly put over your patio table. I have a tall table and chair round iron set. I pushed in all the chairs and this cover went on easily. I clipped the secure anchors around the legs of each chair and this cover is perfect. I put it on the table by myself. I elevated the center of the waterproof cover by placing something on the table before I put the cover on the furniture. This helped the water run off and not gather. It rained hard here and we had 2 very windy days 50 mph winds and this cover stayed on. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Small Price to Protect Your Outdoor Furniture

We purchased this round patio furniture cover for our fire table and chairs to protect from the elements. We live in the greater Seattle area so yes, our #1 element to protect from is the rain. We haven't quite mastered getting rid of the puddling water pockets, but for the most part, the cover works as it is intended to do. We tried facing our chairs in opposite direction to divert the water off, but the water then only finds another pocket to go hide in. The function of the drawstring at the bottom doesn't work for us, so we just let the strings hang. The material is heavy duty (great), so I don't think its really intended to be gathered with a skinny drawstring. Perhaps a beefier string setup, or the use of some velcro to gather at different points along the bottom would work better? Our chairs are just tall enough to keep the product off the deck floor so we just allow the material to 'hang' where it wants to.
