5.0 out of 5 stars If you are petite (I’m 5’0”)... (compared 3 Pearl Izumi models)
Reviewed in the United States on 22 October 2016
After going to several bike shops in town and trying on women’s shorts that were always too big and baggie for me (I’m 5’0”, 118 lbs with a 31” waist around belly button..got some inches to loose!) I decided to get some shorts from Amazon that I could not find/try at the store, per REI salesman recommendation I went with Pearl Izumi. I bought all models mentioned below in size Medium due to my waist size. All models come with Velcro on the inside to adjust the waist, on pictures I’m attaching, all shorts are with waist adjusted at its widest.
I’m attaching some pics to this review showing how each model fit

Pic with 1 finger/left side; “Elevate” model, this is the one that seemed sturdier unfortunately it was also the one that was longer and baggier, it did not come with a chamois liner, this picture is taken with a “Baleaf Women's 3D Padded Cycling Brief Underwear Shorts Black Size M” underneath which I really liked by the way and ended up keeping. These shorts come with one zipped pocket on each side and another one on the back by the waist; I wish it had fit since aesthetically I liked this model best. Even though I did not keep this model I'm giving it 5 stars because I like how it looks and quality, it did not fit me but for a non-petite woman it would work out.

Pic with 2 fingers/middle; “Summit” model, this one was not as long and baggie as the “Elevate” model, it was a nice length and comfortable fit (although I wish the rise was ½” shorter but since these are not petite sized shorts I should not expect that) it did not come with a chamois liner, this picture is taken with a “Baleaf Women's 3D Padded Cycling Brief Underwear Shorts Black Size M” underneath. The fabric on this model is thinner (but not cheap feeling) that the “Elevate” model and it comes with one zipped pocket on each side. This is the model I decided to keep.

Pic with 3 fingers/right side; “Canyon” model, as you can see in pics, this was the shortest. The fit around the waist and buttocks area seemed just slightly tighter (but still comfortable) than the “Summit” model and the thickness of the fabric is thinner than the “Summit” model. This model came with a chamois liner which seems less padded than the “Baleaf Women’s 3D Padded Cycling Brief Underwear Shorts”. This model only comes with one zipped pocket on the left side.
