Stainless steel inner pot !

After many hours of researching a pressure cooker I settled on the Phillips AIO 6L. I wanted an Instant Pot but Amazon UK no longer ship it Australia. I wanted an inner pot that was stainless steel, as personally I avoid non stick coatings where I can (it also comes with a non stick inner pot as well). I have been very happy with my purchase and use it almost daily. The manual and cookbook that came in the box were pretty useless, I joined a facebook Phillips AIO page and that has been very helpful. When my Phillips cooker arrived, the box was not damaged but the cooker had a dent on the side. Returning this to Amazon was very simple and easy to do, I then received another Phillips AIO in perfect condition. The Phillips AIO is very easy to use once you know how and it saves me sooooo much time in the kitchen. As a busy mum working full time this appliance has been amazing! Highly recommend this particular brand and model to anyone thinking about a pressure cooker.

Be patient, don't stop it when it is heating up

The pressure cooker does not start the count down timer when it is still heating up. The first time I used it I though it wasn't wokring and stopped the process... remeber to give it a bit of time to build the temperature and pressure up!

I had a Crock Pot pressure cooker previously but wasn't impressed with it so I bought the Philips Premium All In One. I must say that the operating instructions lacked a bit of detail but once I worked out what to do I found this to be an amazing appliance. I use it regularly and find that it performs above my expectations. It is easy to clean and, once you work out how, is easy to use.

The cooker is easy to use with many customisable functions. The build is robust. I love the included stainless steel pot which is a much better quality than the non stick pot that feels a bit thin. The cooking time can be improved to be faster however it will save on electricity cost due to smaller wattage than the cheaper version. Touch screen is also a plus and the whole cooker feels like a better version in build and functions. Look can be improved but overall not an ugly one. Love this cooker.

Fantastic All in One Pot. Must have for busy families

Our family uses this cooker everyday. From rice to ribs, this cooker makes life a lot easier for us. We just place all the ingredients into the cooker and press start (it does the rest). For the pressure cooker function, once the device reaches pressure, the cooker simply maintains the pressure without user intervention (big difference from our stove top pressure cooker). Once the program is complete, the cooker will keep the food hot until required to serve.

One thing to note if you are thinking about changing over from a stove top pressure cooker to this one, in our case the stove top pressure cooker was a bit faster in cooking (about 20%, possible due to the higher pressures and heat). But for use the convenience of the regulation of pressure and keep warm function was worth it for the switch.

This product also comes with a non stick pot as well, so what our family does is cook the main meal in the stainless steal pot and then place it on a heat mat and use the non stick to cook the rice to accompany the meal.
