I love Pyrex because the glass is ready for any temperature and I dont worry about plastics in my food. Easy to Chuck in the microwave or freezer. However I was surprised how cheap the plastic lids are. The tops don't make things water tight so not ideal for lunchboxes if you need something that won't leak if dumped over. And after 1 month of use the lids started to split and crack (I never microwaved the lids). I WOULD NOT ORDER AGAIN!

I ordered 2 of these. One box was delivered with 1 of the glass containers missing. And both sets the green lidded containers do not seal at all. I would definitely not recommend buying these unless you want to send them back.

I had a different Pyrex set that I wanted to add to, and this one was perfect. I am able to do various meals in advance with the different sizes. The lids are convenient and sturdy enough for storage in the freezer, and easy to clean when removed before cooking the dish in the oven. It is also great that they are dishwasher safe for the nights I am feeling exceptionally lazy.

I like these glass containers. It said that the lids can be put into microwave. But the lids would pop up and also become twisted if being heated in it. Given that it’s not a good idea to not cover the food in microwave, I’m a bit disappointed with the lids.

I love pyrex - and these dishes are perfect for me now. I'm cooking for my 98 year old Mum, and wanted to do neater puddings for her, so now I can do individual puddings rather than freezing serves in another container. I can cook them and then just cover with the lid and freeze. Can also do the larger ones for me to have over a couple of days. Pyrex is fabulous with it's cooking, refrigerating and freezing capabilities - and lids!!!!

I like the glass pyrex, I've taken it from freezer to microwave. I've even toppled it off my counter onto the floor. It didnt break, but I dont recommend you try that. Theyre a convenient size and hold all my foods in the fridge and freezer in an orderly fashion. The lids however seem a bit flimsy, so far theyre holding together. I've had to use lemon to get rid of a smell that stayed on the lid and permeated the food in the container. Vinegar or Lemon is good for getting rid of the smells on the lids. The glass doesnt hold smells. A simple soapy wash is all that is needed. I havent used in the oven, I dont think I would even try. so far I'm happy with my purchase.

I had to return these, the lids are really poor quality. I wasn't expecting them to be waterproof but I wouldn't use them to store food in the fridge or freezer for more than a few hours unless you use plastic wrap to create a decent seal.

Only buy this Pyrex set if you’re David Blaine, because you’ll be eating glass! After owning this set for less than a day, I tried to microwave something at ROOM TEMPERATURE for 60 Seconds, and the container shattered into a million pieces all over the microwave! This is despite the product description that says that the containers are oven and microwave safe. I have owned other Pyrex containers and have microwaved them with no issues, but this one blew up catistrophicaly on the very first use. I enjoy the set, and the look of the product but I cannot stress this enough, IT LITERALLY EXPLODED IN MY MICROWAVE!

So I was putting a piece of chicken which was not hot it had cool down for at least 45 minutes..the pyrex was room temperature..i put the chicken inside did not even have time to put the lid on and it Exploded on me glass all over the place. could have had serious i jury if I would have got glass in my face and eyes !!..would never use it again..unless cold food like salad!

The biggest Pyrex broke as I was baking for the 1st time. I read a comment from a lady saying she would bake at 350oC just fine but my Pyrex broke. I don’t know if I got a faulty product or what happened. I have had Pyrex before and never really had an issue. Extremely dangerous if you ask me if they can break that easily.
