DEXA similar results

I just came home from a DEXA body composition scan. I was happy to see the delivery of the scale and in good packaging. I was amazed at the results from the app. Both my mother and I each downloaded the app and our results from the Renpho scale have us almost identical metrics that we have in our DEXA report. I like that the app also gives other metrics to follow giving you an overall idea about your health. I'm so happy to know it's able to give trends on the app. Instead of paying hundreds for a DEXA scan, go for this scale while is out there! I've previously paid over $200 for a brand name medical scale and it was bulky and no additional features were available without a subscription!

Waste of money. App doesn't work device doesn't pair.

unfortunately just wasted $50 on this instructions say how to paid it. Device doesn't want too. Trouble shooting says to do it a certain way according to the response Device works so you can't log issue with them. Well scales turn on and charging works... but this product is unless for everything else. As it requires the product to Bluetooth and connect to your phone, needs the product to work for that. Even tried just pairing after a hard reset via settings on my phone without app and it still won't connect.

So buy your self a basic digital scale don't waste paying extra for this ones features like I did as it doesn't work.

Easy to use rechargeable smart scale

I had an old bathroom scale that was low on battery so I thought why not upgrade to a smart scale... and I'm so glad I got this! This has been sitting in my bathroom after I unpacked it and charged it once, so the battery lasts a while - the manual says 3-4 months. The app is easy to use and the data syncs to Apple Health.

Now that I have a smart scale, I can just open the app, stand on the scale for a few seconds, and have all these health data collected on my phone - makes tracking my health statistics so much easier!

If you don't yet have a smart scale, this is a great smart scale for dipping your toes into smart health tech.

The scale is very easy to set up and use. I’ve been using it daily for a month now and so far it’s still running on the first charge. The battery icon on the app showed the scale has plenty of charge left so I believe it will last several months before it needs recharging. No big deal, and much more convenient and greener than replacing disposable batteries.

The scale is super easy to use and very accurate. I’ve tested the accuracy by weighing myself, then drink a glass of water and re-weighing. I can see my weight has increased by exactly the weight of the water which I’ve pre-weighed using a digital kitchen scale.

The best thing about the scale is actually the Renpho app that you need to download. After weighing, the scale will export all data to the app. Apart from the weight, it will show you the BMI, % of Body fat, %muscle mass, etc. All the stats are displayed colour-coded (blue for low/very healthy, green for good and amber for needs improvement) so you can easily tell if you are within a healthy range. If you happened to weight yourself when the phone is not within range, the scale will automatically upload the data the next time you have the phone nearby. Very clever and super convenient. The app will also display data trend so that you can easily track if you are making progress . You can choose to view the trend across a week, or a month or year.

Until I bought this scale, I’ve never heard of Renpho so I was a bit skeptical at first. And now that I’ve used the scale, I’ll have no hesitation in recommending it.

What can I say? it's only been one day but I'm liking it. I purchased this product because my expensive scale gave up the ghost after just 3 years of life. The bad thing is that their customer rep didn't even know how to fix the problem only told me to buy their newer scales for the inflated price of over $150!!!
The package arrived earlier than expected. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. No need to purchase extra batteries, just make sure to charge this beast up and off you go.
Also gives you the ability to sync with other fitness apps unlike specific scales from other more expensive brands who does the exact same thing for 5 X the price.
Might buy another one for other members of my family. I know it's early but so far I'm extremely happy with the purchase.

It is easy to use. The app supports Apple Health App and this is my reason to buy. The app traces my target weight and the history. You need to run the app before standing on the scale.

Its charing port is micro 5 pin so it doesn't follow the recent trend. My major cables and ports are currently type C, and it is a little bit annoying me. But I like that I don't need to change any AA or AAA batteries
and simply charge the internal battery. Besides that, I have no problem to use it. Its top surface is glassy so I love it, too.

The Renpho scale was a whim purchase for me as I already had a scale that worked but what prompted me was that it tapped into Google fit, which syncs with Cronometer app. It saves me entering data several times in different apps.

The Renpho gives me a whole heap of metrics I can track to give me an indication of progress. I don't know how accurate all these metrics are but the weight matches my other non smart digital scale.

All in all it does what it says it does. Easy to set up and use. I'd recommend it if you want the features of a smart scale to track different metrics

Nice scale, good info provided to app, not sure how accurate some of it is but weight seems to be fairly consistant. 3 members of family now using it. Was very easy to link to app and do not have to instantly download data to phone as you can come back later and trasnfer the data to phone, it seems to know who used the scale by the weight, I think it links the weight to the person as long as it's within 5kg, so if you have 2 people who weight within 5kg of each other it may download the wrong persons data, if you do have 2 people within 5kg of each other you get around it by having totally seperate prime user accounts and then each person just downloads after they use the scale.

Overall very happy, only took about 2 hours to fully charge. Makes a diet a bit more interesting as you can see improvements in all sorts of settings rather than just focus on weight.

This scale is so good! The app is the best part, it’s so good being able to track your weight and see trends and fluctuations. It seems pretty accurate to me, when I’ve had a naughty weekend it’s definitely reflected in the scales and body fat increase. I use this along with my fitness pal, airs excellent for tracking progress and for setting goals! The app is really easy to use and you can have multiple accounts so me and my partner can track our results separately. I haven’t had to charge it yet and I’ve used it every day for two months. Highly recommend!

Easy to use scales, mobile app installed and data transferred to phone with app open within range without issue. Graphs weight and calculates BMI once you enter your height. Other items mentioned must only be available with Fitbit or similar device as nothing else showing. Seems accurate in comparison to old scales. Weighed myself twice and showed the same weight and weighed myself again with 2kg of flour and increased by 2kg. But hard to tell without a certified weighing device to compare results.

Instructions seem to indicate not to use on a carpeted surface. Instructions don’t outline specifications to know it’s level of accuracy. Only seems to have support in USA and UK, no support number to call for Australia.

I don’t shy away from spending more money to get a quality product. I looked at getting the Garmin scale because hubby, myself, and our oldest all have Garmin watches. But almost $300 was a lot when I didn’t know if it would even be worth it.

Long story short, I’m super happy I went with the cheaper option! I read a lot of positive reviews about this scale, and now I’m writing my own.

Positives:
💥 It tells me all the data I really need
💥 tracks it all for me
💥 integrates into my apple Heath which talks to my Noom app
💥 I’m super glad I got the rechargeable one to not be adding more batteries to landfill.
💥 also tracks the data for my hubby and kids in an easy to use app.

Negatives:
💥 Only stores 20 readings before it starts deleting, so if you have a family, make sure they’re syncing regularly.
💥 Doesn’t talk to my Garmin app. Not a deal breaker but a bit annoying since I have most everything in there.
💥 Doesn’t do complete measurements for youth - likely due to the age - but I find that kind of arbitrary. If it’s accurate for adults why wouldn’t it be for kids?
💥 Documentation/quick start guide wasn’t quite as good as I think it should have been. It missed some important things that would have been helpful before that I found out later by going through the faq.

And one other thing to note that I’m not sure if it’s common across all Bluetooth scales is that it wasn’t clear that best practice is to have ONE ACCOUNT with multiple users. If you have multiple accounts, the syncing doesn’t play nice unless you always have your phone with you. It’s fine for our family but not likely ideal if it’s a shared scale with roommates or something.
