DEXA similar results

I just came home from a DEXA body composition scan. I was happy to see the delivery of the scale and in good packaging. I was amazed at the results from the app. Both my mother and I each downloaded the app and our results from the Renpho scale have us almost identical metrics that we have in our DEXA report. I like that the app also gives other metrics to follow giving you an overall idea about your health. I'm so happy to know it's able to give trends on the app. Instead of paying hundreds for a DEXA scan, go for this scale while is out there! I've previously paid over $200 for a brand name medical scale and it was bulky and no additional features were available without a subscription!

unfortunately just wasted $50 on this instructions say how to paid it. Device doesn't want too. Trouble shooting says to do it a certain way according to the response Device works so you can't log issue with them. Well scales turn on and charging works... but this product is unless for everything else. As it requires the product to Bluetooth and connect to your phone, needs the product to work for that. Even tried just pairing after a hard reset via settings on my phone without app and it still won't connect.

So buy your self a basic digital scale don't waste paying extra for this ones features like I did as it doesn't work.

Renpho emailed me in response to my initial review below.
They gave me an instruction on how to troubleshoot my Bluetooth connectivity and the bug connection I was experiencing is now fixed.
Changed my overall rating from 3 to 5 Stars.
With the Smartscale and the App working well together. Having multiple users test the weight and the bio-readings on the App, everything is all very good.
I like to thank Annie from Renpho (Customer Service Agent) for caring for customers and providing me with a solution. A brand/company that reads critical reviews and providing a solution to the customer is an awesome company.
I'll gladly buy this product again and make it as a gift to family and friends.

The RENPHO Smart Bluetooth Bathroom Scale is well built and nicer to use than my plain scale. Enjoying the extra bio-information I get with the RENPHO. The weight is accurate (being the same as my other scales)
What disappoints me is the connectivity with the App. Each time I weigh, the scale either doesn't connect with my phone or there is a bug in the App.
The way I fix it is I turn off Bluetooth on my phone (Andriod v10, Funtouch OS_10) and back on again, and only then the scale will talk with the App. This is annoying and why do I need to do this every time on a new day? Why can't it work seamlessly?

I got this item on discount but seeing how well it works, I don't mind buying this at it's regular price of $43AUD. I got the scales charged and paired fairly easily with my Samsung smart phone and linked to my Samsung Health app. The user manual could be a bit better written as it makes no mention, that on first pairing, that I need to press the little button under the scales to initiate the process. Otherwise the scales have been accurate when it comes to weight (compared against my old digital scales) and the other stats it reads seem more accurate and consistent compared to my old scale (Oregon Scientific). Definitely would recommend these scales to friends and family. Another plus is that it measures all the way up to 180Kgs which most scales don't do.

I do like this set of scales except for the display panel.
Thankfully I downloaded the app which works very well as I’m unable to actually see the writing on the scale. Which is red faint led on a black background. Would have had to send it back if I didn’t have the app on my iPad.

I bought the rechargeable body fat scale from Amazon on 24th Feb 2021 and am very disappointed with it - it worked well until the battery went flat. I charged it and its reading battery full - but each time I use it I need to press the button on the back and by the time I have turned it over again the weight reading light has gone out and wont come on again until the button is pressed again - so I can't weigh myself. So its useless!!

Getting the Renpho app to initialise with the scale was a bit of a struggle the first time. Once that was achieved, everything worked well.
I appreciate that the Renpho app is compatible with the Google Fit app. It is important for integrating all compatible smart body measurement devices.

Was looking at the Withings/Nokia scales originally, 180 bucks which I was prepared to pay but my wife wasn't. Read some reviews and watched some YouTube vids on these and for the price they are awesome. Delivered in 2 days, pairing took a while but quickly found out how fat I am and the app works well and I believe in the June update of software, Samsung health was added which is great. Some of the algorithms may not be to everyone's taste but you are not buying a dexa machine for 33 bucks so use them for what they are. Haven't checked yet but my wife is too scared to use them in case I find out her weight so need to make sure more than one account can be used on the same set of scales, however if not cheap to buy her a set too. Enjoy 😃

As a weighing implement, it works rather well, but the person I ordered it for say's it has a small foot area, although she admits to having large feet for a women, but it should be large enough to accommodate larger feet. Most men have generous feet.

Even though I was SO shocked at the weight I had put on with Covid!!! This is an easy piece of equipment to use. The app works very well and has so much calculated information. I had no idea my water and protein levels were so low and have been able to improve them. Connects super easy to fitbit too. highly recommend...even if it tells you shocking news :)
