I just came home from a DEXA body composition scan. I was happy to see the delivery of the scale and in good packaging. I was amazed at the results from the app. Both my mother and I each downloaded the app and our results from the Renpho scale have us almost identical metrics that we have in our DEXA report. I like that the app also gives other metrics to follow giving you an overall idea about your health. I'm so happy to know it's able to give trends on the app. Instead of paying hundreds for a DEXA scan, go for this scale while is out there! I've previously paid over $200 for a brand name medical scale and it was bulky and no additional features were available without a subscription!

Easy to use rechargeable smart scale

I had an old bathroom scale that was low on battery so I thought why not upgrade to a smart scale... and I'm so glad I got this! This has been sitting in my bathroom after I unpacked it and charged it once, so the battery lasts a while - the manual says 3-4 months. The app is easy to use and the data syncs to Apple Health.

Now that I have a smart scale, I can just open the app, stand on the scale for a few seconds, and have all these health data collected on my phone - makes tracking my health statistics so much easier!

If you don't yet have a smart scale, this is a great smart scale for dipping your toes into smart health tech.

Awesome scales for the price

We had the FitBit Aria scales which cost us over $200AUD. They broke after about 18 months and we were not willing to spend that money again. After checking out plenty of reviews we decided to get these Renpho scales and it was one of the best decisions we've made in a while - the tl;dr is that these are great quality and great value.

You don't get much in the box - just the scales and a recharging cable. That's right - they're rechargable scales - takes about four hours to charge fully but the manual says you only need to recharge a couple of times a year so it's no biggy. Also they're Bluetooth so you don't get the scales automatically syncing with your preferred health app on their own. To sync with Apple Health or Google's equivalent you have to fire up the Renpho app on your smartphone and then step on the scales. We had no problems connecting to the scales - in fact it did it automatically on both our iPhones with no intervention from us at all. You can tell when the app's ready to sync the data back because it shows marching ants around the central weight display. Once it's connected, you step on, it weighs you and then pings the data straight back to the app. We've found the scales to be accurate.

The other data the scales show such as body fat, body water and muscle mass are all great indicators of general health and it's awesome to have this data pinging back automatically into the Apple Health app. It will also sync the data to your FitBit account if you want.

So I give these scales a big thumbs up. They're solid value and they work brilliantly with no messing about. If you've been looking at the overpriced big name scales like Nokia and Fitbit, you might want to save yourself a decent amount of cash and give these Smar Bluetooth scales a go instead.

The scale is very easy to set up and use. I’ve been using it daily for a month now and so far it’s still running on the first charge. The battery icon on the app showed the scale has plenty of charge left so I believe it will last several months before it needs recharging. No big deal, and much more convenient and greener than replacing disposable batteries.

The scale is super easy to use and very accurate. I’ve tested the accuracy by weighing myself, then drink a glass of water and re-weighing. I can see my weight has increased by exactly the weight of the water which I’ve pre-weighed using a digital kitchen scale.

The best thing about the scale is actually the Renpho app that you need to download. After weighing, the scale will export all data to the app. Apart from the weight, it will show you the BMI, % of Body fat, %muscle mass, etc. All the stats are displayed colour-coded (blue for low/very healthy, green for good and amber for needs improvement) so you can easily tell if you are within a healthy range. If you happened to weight yourself when the phone is not within range, the scale will automatically upload the data the next time you have the phone nearby. Very clever and super convenient. The app will also display data trend so that you can easily track if you are making progress . You can choose to view the trend across a week, or a month or year.

Until I bought this scale, I’ve never heard of Renpho so I was a bit skeptical at first. And now that I’ve used the scale, I’ll have no hesitation in recommending it.

What can I say? it's only been one day but I'm liking it. I purchased this product because my expensive scale gave up the ghost after just 3 years of life. The bad thing is that their customer rep didn't even know how to fix the problem only told me to buy their newer scales for the inflated price of over $150!!!
The package arrived earlier than expected. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. No need to purchase extra batteries, just make sure to charge this beast up and off you go.
Also gives you the ability to sync with other fitness apps unlike specific scales from other more expensive brands who does the exact same thing for 5 X the price.
Might buy another one for other members of my family. I know it's early but so far I'm extremely happy with the purchase.

unfortunately just wasted $50 on this instructions say how to paid it. Device doesn't want too. Trouble shooting says to do it a certain way according to the response Device works so you can't log issue with them. Well scales turn on and charging works... but this product is unless for everything else. As it requires the product to Bluetooth and connect to your phone, needs the product to work for that. Even tried just pairing after a hard reset via settings on my phone without app and it still won't connect.

So buy your self a basic digital scale don't waste paying extra for this ones features like I did as it doesn't work.

The ease at which you can record your weight and track it is amazing. Simply step on the scales and have your phone around and its instant. It records lots of other things like BMI, Body Fat, Bone mass etc etc and as it's all automatic you don't need to worry about manual recording. The measurements are date stamped and time stamped and I have also bought a Renrpo measuring tape that works with the Renpro software. This amazing value of these scales is incredible. I would have thought that this technology would cost much much more. This is not a toy. It's a sophisticated piece of equipment that is easy to use and that I appreciate and recommend.

They gave me an instruction on how to troubleshoot my Bluetooth connectivity and the bug connection I was experiencing is now fixed.
Changed my overall rating from 3 to 5 Stars.
With the Smartscale and the App working well together. Having multiple users test the weight and the bio-readings on the App, everything is all very good.
I like to thank Annie from Renpho (Customer Service Agent) for caring for customers and providing me with a solution. A brand/company that reads critical reviews and providing a solution to the customer is an awesome company.
I'll gladly buy this product again and make it as a gift to family and friends.

The RENPHO Smart Bluetooth Bathroom Scale is well built and nicer to use than my plain scale. Enjoying the extra bio-information I get with the RENPHO. The weight is accurate (being the same as my other scales)
What disappoints me is the connectivity with the App. Each time I weigh, the scale either doesn't connect with my phone or there is a bug in the App.
The way I fix it is I turn off Bluetooth on my phone (Andriod v10, Funtouch OS_10) and back on again, and only then the scale will talk with the App. This is annoying and why do I need to do this every time on a new day? Why can't it work seamlessly?

Ok, ok, ok... how can it be this good for this price? Idk, but it is! Great scale, super easy to use. Works on both iOS and Android and feeds data back to Health which feeds it to Noom.

If you’re on a weight loss journey, buy these bad boys! I didn’t even know I wanted this level of data until I got these scales and I am loving it so much I bought the tape, too! You need to celebrate the little things and seeing your weight slowly ease off, seeing your BMI slowly go down makes you feel great!

If you’ve gotten to this part of my review, you’re obviously going to buy them so do it! Cannot recommend highly enough - and remember, this is a boring set of scales, so it must be good to get this type of review lol

overall good scale. it helps me track my progress.

not sure about accuracy. haven't compared it with other scales. however i'd suggest to people stick to one scale. the one you compare it with isn't necessarily more accurate. its not wildly inaccurate. probably few 100 grams error margin

don't be fooled by all the body fat % and muscle mass and ect etc. they are USELESS. they're all gimmick. I only ever use it for weight

battery lasts long. haven't counted days but i'll say it wont be a problem. charge once and forget. will last you couple of weeks i think(i use it twice or thrice a day)

Bluetooth doesn't work 100% of the time. maybe 90%. so sometimes i have to reweight so that it connects and registers on the app
