How to Use: Clean the Surface and Get the Needed Film

2. Measure and trim the film to the required size. Please trim it carefully with your sharp knife cutter for it would tear if you use too much force.

How to Use: Ready to Apply

1. Peel off the backing film. Please affix tapes on both sides of the window film to separate. Or you could wet the window film corner and rub it for a while, then you will see the thin backing.

2. Clean and spray the surface evenly with enough water.

How to Use: Apply it and Wipe Bubbles

1. Apply the film to window glass.

2. Use the soft towel or squeegee to wipe the film back and forth to make sure that the bubbles and water have been totally removed.

How to Use: Cut off the Margins and Clean the Film

1. Trim off the margins.

2. Use a cloth or squeegee to flatten out the film.

I purchased this to blackout the windows in our babies nursery as I needed a removable solution for our rental property. It was not easy to apply but I managed it on my own and it has stayed adhered to the windows even in the height of summer - It has now been up for 1+ month and shows no signs that it is coming unstuck. It has effectively made our room much darker and blocked the bright Queensland sun.

Surprisingly good, especially considering the price. We needed to blackout our laundry room for our early waking puppy and despite it saying it only blocks 90% of light, it really doesn’t let any through at all.

Took about half an hour to cover the doors including washing them first. Instruction video is useful. You really do need the spray bottle and squeegee. Cutting didn’t go so well and I wish I’d left a bit more at the edge - if even a tiny bit of light comes through it makes any rough edges look really obvious.

It’s only been up 24 hours so can’t comment on longevity but the installation and effect is great. Delivered within 2 days too.

If you have used these types of static cling films before, you will find this easy to install. Spray the window with plenty of water in a spray bottle with a few drops of dishwashing detergent added. This helps to move the film around & into place. A good squeegie is needed as well. I find it easier to cut the film to size first, then apply it to the window. The product is pretty thick & easy to work with, it good quality. Put a piece of masking tape on the film & backing paper & pull apart to separate. It is plastic so it can stretch so dont put too much pressure on the edges. It is very very dark, the room is almost pitch black. I recommend this product & would buy it again..

Great window block out solution

This is a far better option than screwing a curtain rail with curtains over our blinds and was exactly what we were looking for. Install was time consuming and like any adhesive can bubble up if you don't do it properly, not a worry we got a ruler and straightened it out. We managed to use 2x of these to cover our sons windows and with a bit of extra tape around the corners, it has completely blacked out the room and changed our lives... not as many 530am wake ups and midday naps are a dream. If you're sensitive to light or little one is, this is a great solution. We will be buying again for another room.

Purchased to use on east facing window in nursery and works very well.

I read someone's tip about installing with a spray bottle with water and detergent and was able to install on my own - not easy but also not impossible. Would be easy with 2 people.

Was able to completely cover a 2.04m x 0.8m window with one roll by using the offcuts as a single strip at the bottom of the roll.

Absorbs a bit of heat (as expected as its black), especially in summer, but well worth it.
