One very interesting concept for a headlamp

OK this light is pretty amazing. I purchased this for use with close up work where I used to use a typical LED headlamp, I was always adjusting my head or the light to illuminate what I was working on. Typical LED headlamps are brighter than this light, however for most fine close up work this is more than adequate for the job and it illumination pattern so broad no head tilt necessary. I really like the hand wave on and off feature which is so convenient. At night walking outside this lamp provides enuf illumination to clearly see the trail in front of you- it does not project as far as a typical LED headlamp but it illuminates a broad band making walking perfectly safe. Again it's broad band of illumination, light wt and hand wave on and off makes this a great light for certain application. It is well worth its price-- I have not tested battery life nor have I tested its longevity but am very pleased with it so far...
It seems to give over 2 hrs on full illumination and recharges just fine-- there is no indication when charge is complete.

This product is the best headlight I have ever owned. I have bought some as gifts now also. It's actually amazing how well it lights an area up. The hands free off and on thing is so convenient! The one thing I would note is the band gets a bit warm on your forehead when wearing for any length of time. It's not too bad. But definitely noticeably warm. Especially in the Florida summer time, when it's already sweltering hot. Other than that, this product is near perfect.

Great product overall for the price. super lite compact and good brightness with a wide light spread. Only real downside is the battery life. If you need to use a light regularly and Consistently for work probably need adleast 2 or 3 of these and rotate them. It's one of the most comfy head lights I have bought and with the wide light spread makes seeing some of the best I have used with little shading shadows. This light is for close not a throwing light so probably not great for hiking

It's all that is advertised. I did post a question>>>> "The charging cable is usb, but it seems the micro end is not. proprietary? lose the cable, it's worthless."<<<<<< . Well I am unaware of USB-C, because I have a bunch of USB-micro cables, and it doesn't fit. I did not want a propriety cable, I wanted a universal USB cable. I guess I have to upgrade to USB-C. It is a great head lamp!

This light is surprisingly very well designed, comfortable to wear, and very bright. The main light offers broad illumination with multiple settings. The side spot light is more focused if one needs that. Hands free off and on could be useful but I have not really used that option. The battery lasts a long time and quickly recharges. For the money, this is a great value and would make an economical gift.
