I expected this book to be something different - it will be good for those who want to know about the history of Reiki, some of the concepts of Reiki, and how to interview potential healers/teachers. It doesn't have much in the way of actual how-to instruction from someone wanting to self-teach or experiment in the method. The how-to is a very small section on the book, fairly vague, and references to use things like meditation & prayer to connect to Reiki energy. Possibly it's hard to describe the how-to of energy healing in a book... I'm going to keep looking.
