Why would you sell an eco friendly product, designed to use less plastic, and then package it in single use plastic?
That’s exactly what happened here. The reusable snap lock bags came inside 3 different plastic bags, and those came inside a bigger plastic bag.
Great product, but consider not purchasing if you are getting this to care about the environment.

These bags look small but preform very well. The handles looked small too. BUT after actually using them at the store I was amazed how well designed they are ,and hold A LOT! I feel for the price point on 8 of these your getting a great deal. They appear to have no defects and are constructed well. I am going to split the set up between me and my daughter for shopping. I like the smaller foldable storage size and clip on feature. The bag patterns work well together and can be used for multi purposes . If they get wet they dry and clean up very easy. I have only used them a few times. so I will report back on how they hold up over multiple use , washings and time. So, far great first impressions with these!

I take these grocery shopping, to farmers market, to pick up books at library, as an extra bag when traveling, etc. The bags seem sufficiently strong, I have not found them stressed by any weight I have put in them that I am willing to carry. This set is relatively neutral in design, and attractive, so not embarrassing to use. They come with a small bag attached to the larger bag which they are supposed to fold into. The stitching holding that bag to the larger bag appears to be the weak point, and at this time only half of my bags still are attached to the smaller carrying pouches. Of course, the pouch still works fine to carry the bags, so I still fold them and stuff them into their pouches, just have to remember to put the pouch in my pocket to not lose it while the shopping bag is in use.

They really can hold a lot of weight and items without breaking. My only complaint is the smaller bag that holds it keeps breaking, the seam tears out on nearly all of the bags. So I wouldnt recommend this item to buy again and I'll have to fix the ones i got.
