Good looking skirt

This looks better than the pictures and fitted me as expected.

I was worried it might be too tight to walk in comfortably but needn't have. Despite the waist fitting me, the area where you need a bit of movement to walk is fine, without being A line. You have the straightness of a pencil skirt with a bit extra.

I might have been able to fit in the size down from this and then it would have been more tight fitting on the thighs but as I don't like tight waisted clothes u didn't want to risk it. The detail of the little flaps on front is repeated at the back and I'm glad I chose to go a little larger as they wouldn't lay flat were the waist too tight. Something to bear in mind. Also the length would be less.

This skirt is very attractive and would work in an office situation or for travel since it's lined it's smart but since it's polyester it's easy are and light.
The back zip works well and doesn't undo as it's firm enough to stay as is. There's no button or hook and eye to do up so it's less hassle too.
I recommend it.

1950's style skirt with a modern twist, very long on me

I have a few items of tops in this brand and usually I order the 16 – the last top I had was a 18 and a little small. I usually wear a UK size 14 in elasticated skirts and a 16 in anything else, decided to order the xxl, this correlated to an 18. The skirt was too big for me.

The material does have some give/stretch – it’s quite a stiff material, similar to a shirt and doesn’t seem to be see-through. I’m 5’7” and it was a generous length with a small slit to make it easier to walk - I found it too long though, it was way below my knees.

I’m not keen on the design of the waistband with the kind of folds. I’m not sure if it’s the shape or the fact it’s a little too big, but it didn’t flatter my body-shape as much as I thought it would.

It’s currently retailing for £14, and I think that’s a good price for the garment. It’s nicely made and does suit the 1950s style.

Overall, this is a good pencil skirt.

The fit is nice as the fabric has a bit of stretch. This also makes it easy to walk in. Maybe it's the way I walk, but I find some pencil skirts manage to spin themselves around when I walk for a longer period of time in them, this isn't happen with this one as the fit was good.
It has a zip in the back that is concealed when closed. I like the detail around the waist, which is quite flattering and adds some interest to the design.
Although I generally like the skirt, I found the fabric a bit rough and cheap feeling. I need to wear a slip underneath as it irritates my skin, and with tights causes friction and sticking.
For the price, a good skirt.

Very beautiful skirt. It does look different, really like the shape and style. The colour it’s deep black. The fabric a bit stretchy, soft and breathable. Material it’s a bit thin, slightly can see trough, I would wear underskirt. Very comfortable , I was expecting a bit tighter but this is perfect. Fits very well, love high waist, I am size 10UK. The zip looks good quality to, easy to zip it, doesn’t catch fabric. Lovely casual ladies skirt. I would wear for summer and winter. Recommend

This 1950’s animal print skirt is so stylish and perfect for a party. I love the detailing at the waistband. Its' so comfortable and super soft against my skin. It is knee length and has an invisible zip at the back. I feel so sexy and chic in it. The fabric is super high quality and washed really well. I highly recommend this stylish and well made item.
