3.0 out of 5 starsContents good but tin like foil so no use for storage

this is a good starter set with a reasonable selection for the price but the tin is so thin and poorly made, you cannot transport the set in it as it springs open and flexes even under its own weight. Charcoal stuff is messy so without a tin its likely to make a huge mess, having a compartmented tin seemed the best way to buy these items, not a bad buy, but not a set.
3.0 out of 5 starsThe Tin is poor quality but the art materials are great

The products are good. Why they included a sharpener in the set is just beyond me as sharpeners break charcoal. would have preferred them to included something else. The Tin that everything comes in is just poor quality as it bends easily and the lid just falls off all the time that you need to used a elastic band to keep it on.
I bought this as an emergency because I needed it quickly. I should have taken notice of other reviews as mine arrived with broken woodless charcoal pencils and one of the soft pastels was also broken. The tin they come in is useless, it’s very flimsy and the packaging inside is very very thin. Spend a bit more money on something better is my advice.

Husband has recently took up charcoal drawing again after a very big gap and wanted a full set that wasn't to expensive just in case he got fed up again and gave up but at the same time he wanted something that was good quality and didn't leave scratches or marks all over the paper and he could get the smoothness and softness that he wanted. This set did the trick a great price and everything he needed including a rubber blocks of charcoal as well as pencils and a white pencil for fine detail etc etc. He was mmore than happy with this item for the price

I received this product with most of the charcoal pencils and sticks broken, the case is so thin that it flexes in transport and breaks the articles inside.
